Smith Doubles Through Bonomo

Niveau 6 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

Dan Smith opened for 5,500 in the cutoff and Justin Bonomo made it 28,000 from the big blind. Smith peeled and they saw {4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop. Bonomo continued for 15,000 after getting a count of Smith's chips and Smith called. Bonomo fired another 40,000 on the {q-Hearts}, and Smith stuck around once more. On the {6-Hearts} river, Bonomo moved in for 114,500. Smith didn't need to use a time extension before sticking in a call.

Bonomo opened {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for an ace-high three-barrel bluff. Smith showed {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

After the hand, Smith apologized for having his stack of big chips in a non-standard tower.

"You're not gonna apologize for calling flop with such a shitty hand?" Bonomo asked with a laugh. "I guess if I bet river because I think king-jack is in your range, I can't be mad at you having king-queen.
