Canadian High Rollers Face Off

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

There was about 9,000 in the pot on a board reading {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Patrick Serda checked from the big blind.

Timothy Adams was under the gun and bet 6,700. Serda thought for a moment and decided to call.

The river was the {4-Spades}. Serda checked again, and Adams paused for about a minute before betting 12,700.

Serda weighed his options and eventually decided to call.

Adams tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for top two pair and Serda shaked his head and mucked his hand.

Serda recently came out ahead in a heads-up chop at the last-ever EPT High Roller in Prague several months ago, taking the most money and relinquishing the trophy to William Kassouf. He is well-known for his success online and has just shy of a million in live recorded cashes.

Adams has over four and a half million in cashes along with a WSOP bracelet, a Bellagio Cup High Roller win, plus a myriad of High Roller final tables on his resume.

Both of these Canadians are a force at the tables, so there will likely be some interesting hands played by the end of the night.
