There weren't many chips in the pot after Steve O'Dwyer had defended his big blind against a raise by Dmitry Yurasov from under the gun and O'Dwyer then checked through a flop of with Yurasov checking behind. On the turn, O'Dwyer check-called a bet of 12,000 into 19,000 before the fell on the river.
O'Dwyer bet for what looked like 60,000 with 100,000 behind and Yurasov moved all in. O'Dwyer used one time bank card and then called with for the second nut flush. Yurasov flipped over the for a straight flush and claimed the lead with seven tables remaining.
From the blinds, Felipe Ramos three-bet to 22,500 and Dario Sammartino called on the button. Ramos bet 15,000 on the flop and 26,000 on the turn. Sammartino made the call twice.

Javier Gomez Zapatero raised from the cutoff and Joao Simao called out of the big blind before the flop fell . Simao check-raised and called the shove of Gomez Zapatero to set up the following showdown.

While the turn changed nothing yet, the river did as it gave Gomez Zapatero the better two pair and the Spaniard doubled for 117,700.
Then, Ekrem Sanioglu in the cutoff and Simao on the button invested 27,000 each and the flop fell . Sanioglu bet 22,000 and Simao called before Sanioglu instantly shoved the turn. Simao folded as quickly and forfeited another pot.
In a battle of the blinds, a raise to 12,000 was in front of Max Silver in the big blind. Charlie Carrel then reraised to 43,000 and Silver gave it some consideration before moving all in. Carrel snap-called and Silver immediately knew that he was in trouble of losing two third of his stack.

It wasn't the best day for Govert Metaal at the tables, who according to himself didn't get many playable hands or spots to build a stack. Down to his last 30,000, action folded to Metaal in the small blind and he shoved. In the big blind, Daniel Dvoress looked at his cards and called instantly.

Maxi Lehmanski made it 7,000 to go and short stack Liv Boeree moved all in for 51,300 on the button, which Lehmanski quickly called. Both players tabled pocket pairs, and it was Boeree that needed help in order to stay in the tournament.

Dejan Pustoslemsek, Mark Teltscher, Aleksandar Tomovic and Vladimir Troyanovskiy have all been eliminated in the last 15 minutes before the dinner break. In the very last hand of the level, Ryan Riess then scored a big double at the expense of Oliver Weis.
After an open-raise to 7,500, Weis three-bet to 22,500 in the small blind and Riess four-bet to 48,000 in the big blind. The initial raiser quickly folded, and Weis then moved all in with just a few seconds left on his shot clock. Riess instantly called and Weis said "I knew it" when he saw Riess' cards.
