Haxton Takes Two; Kamar Shoves into Carrel

Niveau 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On the heads-up turn of {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Isaac Haxton checked out of the big blind before check-raising big to 32,000 after a bet of Timothy Adams. The latter called and the {3-Clubs} river completed the board. Haxton now bet 24,000 and Adams eventually folded.

Just one hand later, Haxton limped from the small blind and Koray Aldemir raised to 5,000 in the big blind. Haxton squeezed to 22,600 and Aldemir called. On the {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop, Haxton's continuation bet was worth 32,000, and Aldemir called. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn saw a bet of 55,000 by Haxton and that did the trick to force a fold.

One table over, Charlie Carrel was in a tough spot after betting 25,300 on the {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} river. Fady Kamar had shoved from the button and Carrel used one time bank chip before flashing his cards and sending them into the muck. "I had two pair and a flush draw," the Brit added.
