More for Malec

Niveau 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Sebastian Malec was not done stacking the chips from the previous hand yet and raised from the small blind, Michael Uguccioni called in the big blind. A small continuation bet on the {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop was called by the Italian before both then checked the {6-Diamonds} turn. On the {A-Spades} river, Malec bet 99,000 and Uguccioni called.

Malec turned over {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a pair of aces and that won the pot.

Malec Takes Over the Lead

Niveau 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The very first hand of the final table provided fireworks and Sebastian Malec shoved into Boris Kuzmanovic on the river to claim the lead.

Kuzmanovic raised to 44,000 from early position and Malec called out of the big blind. Malec check-called a bet of 40,000 on the {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and another worth 115,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn. Malec then checked the {K-Clubs} river and Kuzmanovic fired a third barrel for 200,000.

Malec moved all in and Kuzmanovic immediately sighed. He double-checked the cards and ultimately folded while the entire hand took almost 10 minutes.

Kuzmanovic Busts Rauta and Urban to set up Final Table

Niveau 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
David Urban
David Urban

While Sebastian Malec faced a raise to 38,000 by Aviv Meiri over on the other table and moved all in to force a fold, a double elimination would take place on table one to reduce the field to the final eight.

Dorin Rauta moved all in for his last 59,000 from under the gun and Boris Kuzmanovic called on the button. David Urban shoved from the small blind for 170,000 and Kuzmanovic called.

Dorin Rauta: {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
David Urban: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Boris Kuzmanovic: {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Kuzmanovic's set of deuces sent Rauta to the rail in 10th place, and Urban had to settle for 9th place. The remaining eight players will now redraw to the official final table and take a short break to set up the group picture.

Ban Doubles Anagnostidis and Malec

Niveau 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Within two hands, the big stack of Zoltan Ban has vanished and he dropped to the bottom of the counts.

First he raised to 32,000 and called the shove of table neighbor Anestis Anagnostidis for 127,000 with {10-Spades}{9-Spades}. Anagnostidis had {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and made trips aces on a board of {A-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{A-Hearts}.

Then, he got into a pot with Sebastian Malec and fell for the trap of the Pole by shoving the {K-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts} river. There were around 250,000 in the pot and Malec snap-called with {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for two pair. Ban only had {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a busted flush draw and lost an even bigger portion of his stack.

Right after, Robert Zipf raised to 32,000 and Aviv Meiri called. Malec moved all in and forced folds all around.

Rauta's Stack is Melting

Niveau 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

After giving up the pot against Michael Uguccioni, Dorin Rauta was on the button and called a raise to 35,000 by Pietro Errante Parrino. The duo checked the {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and Parrino then bet 35,000 on the {9-Hearts} turn. Rauta called and the {7-Spades} river went check, check.

Parrino showed ace-four for kings and fours, and that ended up winning the pot.

Uguccioni Takes from Rauta

Niveau 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Dorin Rauta bet the {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop for 35,000 and table neighbor Michael Uguccioni called. The {J-Hearts} appeared on the turn and Rauta bet 50,000 with just 135,000 behind. Uguccioni moved all in and Rauta reluctantly folded.

Martin Bartos
Martin Bartos

A few hands after coming back from the dinner break, Martin Bartos moved all in for his last 102,000 first to act. Zoltan Ban reshoved from the cutoff and all other opponents folded.

Zoltan Ban: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Bartos was eliminated in 11th place for a payday of €5,438.
