Dinner Break for the Final 11

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The remaining 11 players have been sent on a 45-minute dinner break. Boris Kuzmanovic dominated table two in order to build his stack, while David Urban fell back into the middle of the pack.

Action will resume at approximately 7.10 p.m. local time.

Anagnostidis Shoves Twice

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Anestis Anagnostidis moved all in once to claim the blinds and antes. Soon after, Zoltan Ban made it 25,000 to go and the Greek shoved again. Once the action was back on Ban, he asked for a count and ended up folding once the shove was deemed to be for 135,000.

Small Pot for Rauta

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Pietro Errante Parrino limped in from the small blind and Dorin Rauta checked his option in the big blind. The duo checked down the {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop the {K-Diamonds} turn. Parrino also checked the {8-Hearts} river and Rauta bet 30,000. After some consideration, the Italian called and Rauta showed {K-Clubs}{6-Spades} for trips kings to claim the pot.

Uguccioni and Meiri Double

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Now the all ins come at a very fast pace, and once again both players at risk doubled.

First, Sebastian Malec open-shoved out of the small blind and Michael Uguccioni called in the big blind.

Michael Uguccioni: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Sebastian Malec: {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The board came {J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{9-Hearts} and the kicker played a crucial role.

Only a few moments later over on the other table, Zoltan Ban raised and picked up two callers in Aviv Meiri out of the small blind and Martin Bartos in the big blind.

The flop fell {Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Meiri check-raised all in to see Ban call with king-queen for top pair. Meiri had the better kicker in {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and celebrated the double with a "finally I got one" when the {9-Clubs} turn and {10-Spades} river changed nothing whatsoever.

Uguccioni and Parrino Double

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Michael Uguccioni was all in and at risk for his last 86,000 from the button with {Q-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and David Urban called in the big blind with {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The board came {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Uguccioni turned his deuce to double.

Soon after, Boris Kuzmanovic raised to 25,000 and called the shove of Pietro Errante Parrino for 140,000 in total.

Pietro Errante Parrino: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Boris Kuzmanovic: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

After a board of {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}, the second remaining Italian also locked up a double within quick succession.

Kuzmanovic Shoves into Urban

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

A battle of the blinds between Boris Kuzmanovic and David Urban escalated to see the former shove the river of a big pot and force a fold, essentially evening out the stacks.

Kuzmanovic limped in, Urban raised to 30,000 and then called a limp-raise to 90,000 by Kuzmanovic. On the {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Kuzmanovic continued for 60,000 and was called before the {Q-Clubs} on the turn went check, check. The {J-Spades} river completed the board and the shove of the Croatian took down the pot uncontested.

Paul Skipper Falls to Zoltan Ban

Niveau 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Paul Skipper
Paul Skipper

The action folded around to Paul Skipper in the small blind and he moved all in for what looked like 120,000. Zoltan Ban called in the big blind and the Brit had a flip for his tournament life.

Paul Skipper: {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Zoltan Ban: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

On a flop of {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, Skipper already stood up from his chair, as if he knew the fate ahead. Neither the {6-Spades} turn nor the {8-Clubs} river improved Skipper and he was eliminated in 12th place, racking up his second score of the year in a PokerStars Festival after finishing 15th in the London Main Event back in January.

Zipf Rivers Meiri to Double

Niveau 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Zipf defended his big blind against the raise of Aviv Meiri in under the gun and checked the flop of {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Meiri continued for 35,000 and Zipf then check-raised all in for 111,000.

"Do you want the call?" Meiri asked and took some further consideration before tossing in the extra chips.

Robert Zipf: {Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Aviv Meiri: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The {2-Hearts} on the turn didn't matter, but Zipf got there thanks to the {4-Diamonds} on the river in order to double.
