Tyler Barnes
Tyler Barnes

Level 11: Blinds 1,500/3,000/3,000

Defending Champion Tyler Barnes moved all in preflop and was quickly called by Forrest Kollar to put him at risk.

Barnes flipped over A4 while Kollar tabled a superior holding of KK.

A four appeared on the flop of 4610 to give Barnes increased outs along with his ace, but the runout of J2 did not provide for him and he was sent to the rail.

Gebhart Hits River to Scoop Massive Pot; Nicoletti Exits

Niveau 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a three-way flop of 6J7, Ricky Gebhart checks to Wayne Welch, who bet 19,000 and was called by Kenneth Nicoletti and Gebhart.

On the turn 9, action checked to Nicoletti, who moved all in for 57,000. Gebhart and Welch both made the call to see the 8 fall on the river.

Gebhart checked and when Welch checked back, Gebhart quickly turned over J10 for a rivered straight while Welch showed AA and Nicoletti flipped over 77 for a flopped set. Unfortunately, these hands were no longer good as the massive pot was pushed over to Gebhart to rocket him up to over 400,000, while Nicoletti made his way to the exit.

Runner-Runner for Garg

Niveau 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a heads-up flop of 276, Michael Shuptraine checks to Shantanu Garg who bets 6,000, but then Shuptraine check-raises all in for around 17,000.

After some thought, Garg made the call to put him at risk and tabled AQ, needing to improve against the 67 of Shuptraine.

Unfortunately for Shuptraine, the turn was the A to give Garg top pair, and the river was the 2, pairing the board to give him a superior two pair.

"Gahh!, that's like the fourth time you've done that to me!" Shuptriane sighed heavily as he exited the tournament area and his chips were given to Garg.

Baker Binks River to Scoop

Niveau 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

After some preflop craziness, Kellie Alexander and Corey Aurentz were all in, while Houston Baker and Lee Walker still had action on the side.

The flop came out QJ2 and Baker bet 10,000, which produced a fold from Walker and the players tabled their hands.

Kellie Alexander: AA
Corey Aurentz: QQ
Houston Baker: K10

Aurentz had a huge lead with his top set of queens, but the runout of 6A gave Alexander a superior set of aces and Baker hit his nut straight to scoop everything, eliminating both players. Wallker also patted himself on the back, claiming he folded pocket sixes .

Soliz Makes Quads to Take Early Lead

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

After some preflop back-and-forth, Christopher Daniels moved all in and Clayton Soliz made the call to put him at risk.

Christopher Daniels: AK
Clayton Soliz: 44

An ace appeared right in the window to give Daniels a sense of hope, but right behind it came a four on the flop of A42 which left him drawing dead to a chop.

The 4 on the turn really sealed the deal as Soliz made quads while the 7 rolled off on the river.

"Well when did you like it?" another player asked Soliz as Daniels shook his head and made his exit. "Preflop, " Soliz replied with a smile as he stacked his new chips to put him over 100,000 for an early chip lead.
