The final day of the WPT Prime Sanremo Championship Event is almost upon us here at Casino San Remo, with eight players remaining to do battle for the title when play is reconvened at 1:00 p.m. local time on Monday, June 10.

Traian Stanciu of Romania leads the way, holding a 22 big blind advantage over his nearest challenger, Italian Giuseppe Zarbo (7,475,000), while fellow Italian Priamo Carta (6,750,000) rounds out the top three.

No player at the table is in the danger zone just yet, with Vladas Burneikis and Erico Iervasi bringing up the rear on 13 big blinds.
