Action folded to Cid Ghillain in the cutoff, who opened to 120,000, only to be faced with a three-bet to 300,000 by David Foucault in the big blind. After some thought, Ghillain annouced an all-in four bet with the slightly covering stack. Foucault made the quick call.

A chopped pot appeared likely, but the sweat was on for Foucault when the flop came 9♦6♦10♦ to give Ghillian the diamond draw.

Ghillian began calling for the diamond, and celebrated wildly when the 3♦ rolled off on the turn, shouting "Yes Papa!" repeatedly. The 9♣ completed the board and Foucault, understandably disgusted with his misfortune, cursed the poker gods and pushed his chips across the table to the dealer.
