Moments after David Peters doubled through Luc Greenwood, the American pro was seen heading out the doors here at the Galaxy Macau poker room. A quick glance at the table revealed Fedor Holz with a bunch of new ammunition and not long after that Luc Greenwood departed from the table as well.
Andrian Mateos and Steffen Sonthemier have reloaded and have been given a new seat and a fresh stack.
John Juanda is back in the mix here on Day 2. Juanda was eliminated from play on Day 1 and chose not to re-enter until this afternoon.
Dominik Nitsche was also forced to re-enter and it appears as though Wiktor Malinowski was the beneficiary of Nitsche's stack. Malinowski looks to be the new chipleader.
2016 Triton Super High Roller Series Manila Main Event Champion Wai Kin Yong entered Day 2 with the second shortest stack. After the first two hands at his table, Yong now sits in the top ten.
After doubling up on the first hand, Yong doubled again in the second hand.
With about 200,000 in the middle and a board reading , Steffen Sonthemier bet 125,000 and Yong shoved for 218,000 total. Sontheimer made the call and Yong tabled forcing Sontheimer to muck.
The tournament staff has kicked off the action here on Day 2 and cards are in the air. Play will continue until the field has been reduced to just eight finalists.
