Moolhuizen in the Christmas Spirit

Niveau 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Mateusz Moolhuizen
Mateusz Moolhuizen

Mateusz Moolhuizen is obviously in the Christmas spirit even before December has begun, as he was sporting a rather fetching Christmas tree hat earlier in the day.

Unfortunately, due to French gaming regulations, he was unable to continue wearing the hat and the Christmas spirit came to an end all to a soon.

Luckily, Moolhuizen is still in the tournament with double starting stack midway through the day.

O'Kearney Hits the Rail After Running into Big Slick

Niveau 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Unibet Poker Ambassador Dara O'Kearney moved all in for around 10,000 from under the gun and was called by the player in the big blind.

O'Kearney held {a-}{j-} but had been picked off by the {a-}{k-} of the big blind, and the Irishman received no help on the run out as he was eliminated.

He will join his fellow Unibet Poker Ambassadors in the Turbo Day 1c which starts at 8pm this evening.

Elaut Eliminated by Atoui

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Jonathan Elaut was all in for 20,900 with {q-Clubs}{k-Hearts} but was dominated against Kamel Atoui who held {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

The flop came {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Elaut was drawing dead when the {q-Hearts} came on the turn giving Atoui a set.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Atoui moved up to above 70,000 in chips.
