Scott Seiver raised to 2,500 from under the gun and got calls from Barry Woods on the button and Nick Schulman in the big blind. The flop came and the action checked around to the on the turn.
Schulman led out for 6,500 and both Seiver and Woods stuck around to see the on the river. Schulman went for a big overbet of 40,000 but both of his opponents quickly released their hands. Seiver was left with around 20,000 after the hand with his chips spread out to the other four players at his table.
Meanwhile, Adrian Mateos has rejoined the field along with Cary Katz and Isaac Haxton who finished in fourth place in Event #6.
Ben Tollerene raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and was called by Dan Smith on the button. Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 15,500 in the big blind and was called by both Tollerene and Smith. The flop came and the action checked around to the on the turn.
Negreanu led out for 12,000 and was raised to 45,000 by Tollerene. Smith quickly got out of the way but Negreanu made the call to see the pair the board on the river. Negreanu started with a check and Tollerene announced all in. The chip stack were close, with each player having around 110,000. Negreanu called as his time was about to expire and Tollerene tabled for trip sevens. Negreanu could only muster and Tollerene had him covered.
Daniel Negreanu has instantly rejoined the field in his pursuit to catch Stephen Chidwick in the overall money race. Elijah Berg has also taken a seat after a sixth-place finish in Event #6. Larry Greenberg has just entered the poker room as well looking for a seat.
With around 30,000 in the middle and the board reading , Cary Katz led out for 17,000 from the big blind. Brian Green called on the button and the rolled off on the river.
Katz checked this time and Green tossed in a small bet of 11,000. Katz thought for a moment but felt he was forced to call. Green turned over for trip fours and Katz sent his cards to the muck.
Adrian Mateos opened to 3,500 from under the gun and Justin Bonomo three-bet to 11,000 directly to his left. The action folded back around to Mateos who put in a four-bet to 28,500. Bonomo five-bet shipped all in and Mateos called off for 113,500.

Mateos was in another coin flip for his stack and looking for a different outcome this time. The board ran out and Mateos would earn himself a full double up.
Lauren Roberts also joined the field during the break and has found herself sitting to the left of David Peters.
Ben Tollerene and Jake Schindler battled heads-up on the final table of Event #5 yesterday, and they have found themselves seated next to each other again today. Both players have run up a stack early on and clashed in another big pot.
There was around 15,000 in the middle and the flop read . David Peters checked from the big blind and Schindler bet 9,000 in the cutoff. Tollerene called and Peters let his hand go.
The turn brought the and Schindler checked this time, allowing Tollerene to take the lead in the hand with a bet of 15,000. Schindler made the call and the peeled off on the river.
Schindler checked again and Tollerene fired another 30,000. Schindler used up one of his time extensions before making the call after a full 90 seconds. Tollerene tabled for a set of threes and Schindler mucked his cards with a smile on his face.
