Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

Alex Foxen raised to 7,500 from the cutoff and Chance Kornuth called in the small blind. Brandon Adams called in the big blind closing the action and bringing all three to the flop.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Kornuth checked. Adams made it 17,000 and Foxen folded quickly. Kornuth then check-raised, making it 44,000. Adams thought for a bit, then called.

The turn was the {J-Spades} and Kornuth checked again. Adams announced a pot for 113,500. Kornuth repotted to put Adams all in and Adams called.

Chance Kornuth: {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Brandon Adams: {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Adams had two pair but Kornuth flopped a straight and picked up a redraw to a better straight. The river was the {J-Diamonds} and that would be it for Adams who hit the rail while Kornuth vaulted into the momentary chip lead.

Shak Pushes in the Dark

Niveau 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

John Riordan called a bet from Dan Shak before the flop, leaving Shak with 23,500 behind and he would move that all in blind. The flop came down {4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Riordan called the blind bet of Shak and the players turned over their hands.

Shak Tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} for an over pair of bullets and Riordan showed {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a pair of fives with a straight draw. The {a-Hearts} fell on the turn, giving Shak a set and Riordan would need to hit. A {7-Spades} landed on the river and changed nothing as Shak took down the pot, doubling through Riordan.

Winter Picks Off Foxen's Bluff

Niveau 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Alex Foxen opened from the small blind, making it 9,000. Sean Winter called in the big blind.

The flop was {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and Foxen continued with a bet of 8,000. Winter called again.

On the {6-Clubs} turn, both players checked and the {5-Hearts} dropped on the river. Foxen dropped into the tank and while he did, Winter held his hand over the muck, implying he was going to fold.

"Put your hand in the muck," Winter said. "Just muck it. Come on, muck it."

Foxen eventually decided to put out a bet of 20,000 and Winter dropped into the tank.

"I don't really beat anything except one pair," Winter said. He eventually decided to call.

"You beat this hand," Foxen said, flashing his cards briefly. Winter showed his {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a pair of kings and he would take down the pot.

"Wow, some how it would've been cheaper for you just to throw your hand in the muck," Winter said with a smile after the hand.
