Bonomo Bubbles the 2019 USPO $100,000 Main Event

Niveau 18 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Justin Bonomo - Bubble Boy
Justin Bonomo - Bubble Boy

The short-stacked Justin Bonomo jammed under the gun for 315,000 and Ryan Riess moved all in over the top for 25,000 more from the button. Both blinds folded and the hands were turned up.

Bonomo: {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Riess: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Spades} flop didn't do Bonomo any favors and neither did the {10-Hearts} turn. The {7-Clubs} river was a brick and Bonomo bubbled the tournament in sixth place.

The remaining five players are now guaranteed at least $264,000 in prize money.

Zamani Pays Off Peters

Niveau 19 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

David Peters raised to 90,000 under the gun with the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Martin Zamani called from the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Zamani check-called a bet of 140,000 on the {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop and then both players checked the {q-Hearts} turn.

When the {10-Spades} completed the board on the river, Zamani checked his two pair and Peters bet 380,000 with his straight. Zamani paid it off and Peters stacked the chips.

Ryan Riess Eliminated in 5th Place ($264,000)

Niveau 19 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ryan Riess - 5th Place
Ryan Riess - 5th Place

Ryan Riess moved all in for 795,000 from the cutoff and Keith Tilston called from the big blind.

Tilston: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Riess: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop gave Tilston a set, but the {q-Diamonds} turn kept Riess drawing live to a ten for the gutshot. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {4-Spades}, the last card Riess would see in the 2019 USPO.
