Erwann Pecheux Battles with "Genius" Davidi Kitai

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 100 ante

We saw earlier Erwann Pecheux take to Twitter to perhaps bemoan his seating draw here on Day 1B of the Winamax Poker Open Dublin Main Event.

Translated: "Little €550 tournament. And I'm paying a genius to my left, as well as at least two regs. That's a lot on a table of six. Good luck me!"

A short while later we walked past the table and saw Davidi Kitai raise to 1,500 from under the gun and Pecheux three-bet to 5,000 out of the small blind. Kitai called.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Pecheux continued for 3,000. Kitai called. On the {6-Hearts} turn Pecheux bet again this time for 6,000. Again, Kitai called.

The river was the {7-Spades} and Pecheux checked to Kitai. Kitai bet 18,000 and Pecheux open-folded {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a missed flush draw and Queen-high. Kitai neglected to show.

Sylvain Loosli is Back

Niveau 4 : 250/500, 75 ante

Team Winamax Pro Sylvain Loosli is back in action today, and has taken to Twitter to sound out his intentions ahead of Day 1B.

Yesterday Loosli lost {a-}{q-} against the {j-}{j-} of Liam O'Donoghue, which saw O'Donoghue's stack soar and Loosli bust. O'Donoghue eventually finished second in chips behind Winamax Team Pro Bruno Lopes, while Loosli is back to give it another spin today.

Translated: "Third attempt in the Main Event of the Winamax Poker Open Dublin after having lost a flip for 500k yesterday at the end of the evening."

We will be sure to check up on Loosli as the day gets on, especially as it approaches the business end of the day.
