The numbers are now confirmed. The 492 entries today adds up to a staggering 1,078 total runners in the 2017 Winamax SISMIX Main Event. That is 176 entries more than last year, and over 400 more than when the event was first launched in 2014.
The 1,078 entries are made up of 684 "unique" entries (in the sense that a player competing on two different starting days will count as two unique entries) and 394 re-entries.
The prize distribution is expected to be announced before the end of the day. Play will continue until approximately 11.30 pm local time.

It can never be a bad thing to have a wide array of tools at your disposal at the poker table, and Jawad Ben Tahila just got to showcase two moves, you don't see every day.
With the board reading 
Tahila check-called 5,600, but even before the dealer had burned a card, Tahila tapped the table for a check in the dark. Yohan Figueiras continued for 7,400 after the were revealed, and Tahila called.
There would be no check in the dark before the hit on the river, and instead, Tahila went for the overbet shove, as he put his 55,000 chips in the middle with the pot around 30,000. Figueiras seemed a little confused at first but shortly after decided to fold, and Tahila was kind enough to show the 
to the table.

board, Gaelle Baumann called and Mohamed Hossam folded right behind her.
The river 
prompted a check from Ghizaoui, but he quickly called when Baumann bet 7,500. The Winamax Pro showed 
for two pair, and Ghizaoui turned his 
assumingly expecting a chop. The dealer quickly pointed out the small matter of the kicker to Ghizaoui, and Baumann raked in the pot.

Slam Dunk for Ndongue

Yohan Figueiras made min-raised to 4,000 from early position and Winamax VIP Emmeline Ndongue clicked it up to 6,000. Arthur Conan right behind her moved all-in for 60,800 total, and while Figueiras quickly got out of the way, Ndongue put her chips over the betting line and started counting up the call.
Conan turned over 
and waited in anticipation to see the cards of his Ndongue. It took the former professional basketball player another few seconds before she finally found the correct amount and proceeded to turn over 
; the worst possibly outcome for Conan.
The board ran out without any unpleasant surprises for Ndongue, and she happily raked in the massive pot worth almost 130,000.
