Niveau 23 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

The board read {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} and Winamax Team Pro Mustapha Kanit had called a bet of 106,000 from his opponent.

His opponent turned over {9-}{10-} for a missed open-ended straight draw and Kanit took down the pot with {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for two pair.

Kanit now moves up over 650,000 as the players approach their first break of the day.

Former Champion Calamusa Eliminated

Niveau 20 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Pierre Calamusa
Pierre Calamusa

Pierre Calamusa was already down on the day after losing half his stack with {7-}{9-} against the {10-}{10-} of Mark Buckley on a {j-}{8-}{9-} board. The board bricked out and he was down to his last 88,000.

He then got that in with {a-}{k-} suited against the {k-}{q-} again of Buckley, but Buckley picked up a queen to send Calamusa to the rail.

Three Winamax Team Pros at the Same Table

Niveau 20 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

It's a great perk of the Day 2 seating draw when everyone is brought together to see who will be drawn against who. With only six seats at each table the chances of any major clashes were minimal, but we were in for a treat.

It may be among the first to break, but Table 37 has not one, not two but three Winamax Team Pros with short-stacked Gaelle Baumann sitting with 10 big blinds up against Davidi Kitai with close to 45 big blinds, as well as Leo Margets with 30 big blinds.

Baumann won the Beer Pong Open earlier in the tournament and will need to play her cards right early if she's going to add the Winamax Poker Open Main Event to her already successful week.
