After Petre Ionescu raised to 1,100,000 from under the gun, Kasra Rashidi in the cutoff shoved for 4,000,000. The button and the blinds folded, and Ionescu called.
Kasra Rashidi: 10♠10♦
Petre Ionescu: J♦J♥
The dealer fanned a board of A♦6♣8♠3♦6♦, and Rashidi was eliminated in 10th place for 115,000 MAD.
Timothée Rey raised to 1,600,000 from the cutoff, an effective all in with just 500,000 behind the line. Thomas Ristorcelli called from the small blind.
Both players checked to the river as the full board now read 10♥Q♠8♦A♦3♦. Ristorcelli put Rey all in for his last big blind and Rey went into the tank. Having cleary missed the board in its entirety, Rey elected to fold to stay alive at least one more hand.
Hand Two:
The very next hand Rey moved all in for 500,000 from the hijack. Matthieu Lamagnere called in the small blind and Sacha Cohen checked their option in the big blind.
The action checked to the river as the full board now read Q♦4♥3♣6♣7♠. Lamagnere bet 500,000 and Cohen folded.
Timothée Rey: A♣10♠
Matthieu Lamagnere: J♣5♥
Rey was ahead the whole way, but Lamagnere made a straight on the river to send him to the rail.
David Darrimajou moved all in for 3,300,000 from the button and was looked up by Thomas Ristorcelli, in the small blind.
David Darrimajou: K♣5♦
Thomas Ristorcelli: 7♥7♠
Ristorcelli was well out in front and the 7♣J♦8♥ flop only further improved his holding. The 9♠ turn brought some hope for Darrimajou, the 9♥ river sent him to the rail.
Nolan Madene, in the cutoff, found himself all in and at risk for his remaining 4,000,0000 against Matthieu Lamagnere, on the button.
Nolan Madene: 3♦3♥
Matthieu Lamagnere: A♦Q♠
The board ran out J♠6♥9♦10♣8♣; a safe flop for Madene saw Lamagnere turn a strong draw. The river completed Lamagnera's open ender and Madene was sent to the rail.
