Kabrhel Enters and Quickly Busts

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Olga Iermolcheva opened to 4,000 from the button before Martin Kabrhel three-bet to 41,000 from the small blind, leaving only 1,000 behind. Eyal Revah then moved all in from the big blind, covering both players. Iermolcheva got out of the way and Kabrhel flicked in his last chip to put himself at risk.

Martin Kabrhel: AK
Eyal Revah: A6

Kabrhel looked to be in excellent shape to score a double up but the J62 flop left him drawing to just three outs. Kabrhel found no help on the J turn or 9 river and was eliminated just a few hands after entering the tournament while Revah continued to build upon an already impressive stack.

Aguero Bends The Two-Outer

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Sergio Aguero
Sergio Aguero

Erwann Pecheux opened to 4,500 and soccer superstar Sergio Aguero three-bet jammed a stack of 53,000 behind him. Pecheux called with a bigger stack.

Sergio Aguero: AQ
Erwann Pecheux: AK

Aguero was dominated and Matthew Wantman informed him that one of his outs was dead. "I folded king-queen," he told the table. "I was drawing dead."

The 528 flop didn't change anything, but the 2 turn created some flush and chop possibilities. "Heart! Eight!" cheered tablemate Daniel Negreanu, whose shirt was recently ripped by Martin Kabrhel "and those long nails he has."

The dealer then put down the Q river and Negreanu and others cheered as Aguero earned the double.

Andrey Andreev was all-in with the 22 and Eyal Revah looked him up in a "classic flip" with the AJ.

The board ran out 865J8 and Evah almost jumped out of his chair in excitement, all the while he was receiving a massage. He then instantly apologised to Andreev, who quickly left the tournament area.

Kevin Martin
Kevin Martin

Kevin Martin opened to 6,000 from middle position and Dan Stavila three-bet to 17,000 from the cutoff. Martin four-bet shoved for roughly 40,000 and Stavila snap-called to put Martin at risk.

Kevin Martin: QQ
Dan Stavila: 109

Martin was in great shape with pocket queens but the A63 flop gave Stavila some outs in the form of a flush draw. The J turn was clean but the flush came in on the 6 river to give Stavila the pot while Martin was sent to the rail.

Stavila Vanishes; Revah Soars to Massive Stack

Niveau 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Dan Stavila
Dan Stavila

In a pot of around 60,000 to the 65437 river, Eyal Revah over-bet 90,000 and that sent Dan Stavila into the tank. With a stack of around 360,000 behind, Stavila pondered about his move while Revah kept talking like he had done pretty much the entire day already.

Suddenly, Stavila announced all-in and Revah snapped him off to instantly show his A9 for the ace-high flush.

Stavila grabbed his cards and placed them right on top of the muck before heading out of the tournament area.

He would later tell friends that he called with the K8 for the king-high flush, though that cannot be verified.
