Luc Lafontaine check-raised to 9,000 out of the big blind and all three of his opponents folded.

Gold continued for 4,000 and Nobrega called again to see 3 on the turn.

Both players checked the turn and the river was 5. Gold bet 5,000 and Nobrega shoved for what looked like 15,000.

"I have the king (of clubs)," Gold sighed. "I have to call."

Gold tabled AK for the king-high flush and Nobrega showed AQ.

"Oh," Gold said as he dragged the pot.

Bohdanov check-called a 2,000 bet from Negreanu and the turn was K.

Both players checked and the river was Q. Bohdanov tossed out 5,100 and that was too much for Negreanu, so he tossed it in the muck.

In a three-way pot on a board of AQ48, Rony Verch bet 7,300 and Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 18,200.

The player in between folded before Verch three-bet jammed to put Bedell to the test for his remaining 25,000. Bedell laid it down as Verch showed AQ for top two pair.

"I had two as well," said Bedell.

"Nice laydown," replied Verch.
