In a four-way pot on a flop of 9♣7♥J♣, action checked through on the flop before Jeffrey Trudeau bet 2,700 on the 8♣ turn from the button.
Luc Lafontaine check-raised to 9,000 out of the big blind and all three of his opponents folded.
Gabriel Nobrega raised to 1,700 from late position and Jamie Gold made it 4,800 from the big blind. Nobrega called and the flop was 6♣2♥8♣.
Gold continued for 4,000 and Nobrega called again to see 3♣ on the turn.
Both players checked the turn and the river was 5♣. Gold bet 5,000 and Nobrega shoved for what looked like 15,000.
"I have the king (of clubs)," Gold sighed. "I have to call."
Gold tabled A♥K♣ for the king-high flush and Nobrega showed A♠Q♠.
"Oh," Gold said as he dragged the pot.
Daniyar Aubakirov raised for Soojo Kim to defend the big blind with the latter then checking the K♠K♦9♣ flop. Aubakirov bet 800 and Kim check-called. The same action repeated on the 6♦ turn for 2,700 and the 7♣ river was checked. Kim tabled the K♥10♥ for trips kings and Aubakirov mucked.

Daniel Negreanu limped in and Renat Bohdanov raised to 3,200 from the big blind. Negreanu called and the flop was 9♥4♥9♣.
Bohdanov check-called a 2,000 bet from Negreanu and the turn was K♠.
Both players checked and the river was Q♣. Bohdanov tossed out 5,100 and that was too much for Negreanu, so he tossed it in the muck.

In a three-way pot on a board of A♦Q♣4♠8♠, Rony Verch bet 7,300 and Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 18,200.
The player in between folded before Verch three-bet jammed to put Bedell to the test for his remaining 25,000. Bedell laid it down as Verch showed A♣Q♦ for top two pair.
"I had two as well," said Bedell.
"Nice laydown," replied Verch.
