Livingston was in a dominating position for the much needed double headed to the flop but when it came K♠8♣10♦, that all changed as he would now need a queen or a jack on the turn to survive but when the board ran out with the 3♦ and K♥, Livingston's fate was sealed as he stood up to exit the tournament area.
Alex Livingston opened to 250,000 from early position, Daniel Dvoress jammed for 900,000 on the button, and Livingston called.

Jason Mercier was all in from under the gun for roughly 1,050,000, Darren Elias was all in from the cutoff for roughly 1,950,000, and both players were at risk against Arunas Sapitavicius in middle position.

Adrian Mateos opened to 250,000 from under the gun and Erik Seidel defended in the big blind.
Seidel checked on the 7♦5♦9♠ flop and Mateos continued for 350,000. Seidel called. Seidel then led out for 500,000 on the 9♥ turn and Mateos called.
The J♠ river completed the board and Seidel sized up to 2,000,000 to bring a quick call from Mateos. Seidel showed 10♣8♦ for a rivered straight and Mateos mucked in defeat as he told the Poker Hall of Famer and music enthusiast he had a nine.
Action folded to a player in late position who raised to 250,000 only to see Thomas Muehloecker jam for 2,300,000. Daniel Rezaei was next to act and entered a short tank, using a timebank before eventually putting in the call. The original raiser made the quick fold to set up a heads up runout with Muehloecker the player at risk.
