WSOP officials announced the “WSOP Paradise Parlay” by GGPoker, which is a chance for players that cashed in the 2023 WSOP to parlay their summer success into additional cash during 2023 WSOP Paradise.
It’s very simple – if a player earns 10 cashes between the two series, they will receive $5,000; if they make three final tables, they’ll get $25,000; and if they capture two bracelets, well then a hefty $100,000 additional prize awaits!
Support for the WSOP’s new promotion was overwhelmingly positive.

Brannan bet out on the river and Obara put in a big raise to 2,250,000. Brannan gave it some thought and called off with slightly less.
Obara showed J♣10♣ for a pair of jacks as Brannan rolled over A♠10♦ to win the pot with a pair of aces.

Adrian Mateos raised to 200,000 from the cutoff and [Removed:607] called from the big blind. [Removed:608] checked the flop of J♠7♥8♣ and Mateos tossed out 110,000. That was too rich for [Removed:608] and he gave up the pot.
Just a few moments prior, Alex Livingston was seen stacking up a double with A♥8♠ showing. The board showed K♠7♦10♦8♦A♠ for aces and eights and his opponent had the losing 6♣6♦.

Action folded to Vincent Cafone who raised to 220,000 from late position only to see a three-bet come from [Removed:548] in the cutoff to 675,000. Cafone made the call to see the flop come 8♠7♣8♥.
Cafone was first to act but didn't do so quickly as he used a timebank to decide on a bet in the amount of 1,800,000 which saw an instantaneous jam from [Removed:549] for 2,225,000.
Cafone was clearly unhappy with the development as he got a verified count before deciding to put in the call and set up a runout with [Removed:549] the player at risk.

Cafone was pipped by [Removed:549] who had a big lead headed to the 6♣ turn and when the 6♠ river completed the board, Cafone shipped a big double over to [Removed:549].

The A♦10♥4♣ flop had Negreanu hoping to avoid getting another king, and the 7♠ and A♥ completed the board to keep him ahead.
A count confirmed Negreanu had his opponent slightly covered, and Zurita made his exit as Negreanu continued to eat his sandwich with a renewed glow and a renewed stack.
