Ren Lin

Ren Lin announced a pot-sized raise and moved forward 240,000 in chips. With the big blind ante in play, the full pot was higher as inquired by Isaac Haxton, who then called for the full pot from the big blind and Lin added the additional chips.

The KQ6 flop saw Haxton bet the pot and Lin folded with around 600,000 behind.

In the very next hand, Lin got those chips in preflop and was looked up by Tyler Brown.

Ren Lin: 8765
Tyler Brown: KKJ10

The AJ7 flop brought some hope for Lin but the A turn took it all but away. No miracle came with the 3 river and Lin bowed out in 12th place for $54,400.

What started as a multi-way limped pot to the K1010 flop saw Nikolaos Lamproulos check and Tong Li then jam for around 345,000. Tyler Brown folded and Lampropoulos instantly called.

Tong Li: AK94
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: KQJ10

Lampropulos had flopped the goods with a full house and blocked the potential straight flush of Li, leaving his opponent on very thin ice. It was all over with the 4 turn and the 2 river sent Li to the payout desk in 13th place to collect $54,400 for his efforts.

Ioannis Angelou-Konstas

With 510,000 in the middle to the K108 flop, Ioannis Angelou-Konstas checked out of the big blind. Michael Moncek bet 200,000 on the button and the Greek reluctantly splashed in his short stack.

Ioannis Angelou-Konstas: Q1076

Moncek was ahead with the top pair against Angelou-Konstas with middle pair and a gutshot on a three-card flush flop. The J turn gave Angelou-Konstas some more outs to a straight but the K river only improved Moncek to trips kings.
