Noah Boeken had gotten a shove through on the bubble for 120,000, which was three big blinds then.
He was now all-in in a three-way showdown against Yuri Dzivielevski and Nick Schulman.
On a board of J♣9♥3♥A♦10♥, the A♣K♥Q♣2♠ of Boeken made a flush for a triple-up while Schulman won the side pot with the K♦K♣Q♠8♣ for broadway. Dzievielevski could not beat either and lost a small portion of his stack.
Ren Lin opened in middle position to 140,000 before the action was on Nikolaos Lampropoulos. He took a moment and then moved his last 45,000 into the middle. The remaining players folded and the cards hit their backs.
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: A♥2♥K♠Q♣
Ren Lin: 8♠5♥J♣3♦
The full board ran out 3♣7♣K♥10♣10♦ and there was yet another double.
Isaac Haxton raised to 140,000 and subsequently four-bet jammed from the button when facing a pot-sized three-bet by chip leader Yuri Dzivielevski in the big blind. The Brazilian pondered about his decision for a short while and called with the far superior stack.
Isaac Haxton: A♥A♦10♦4♠
Yuri Dzivielevski: Q♠Q♥6♥4♥
The K♠10♣7♦3♠9♥ runout kept the aces of Haxton ahead and he joked "I could just feel everybody rooting for me, it felt so good" while raking in the chips.
Norbert Szecsi opened the small blind before Jonathan West promptly piled in all of his chips from the big blind. Szecsi called and the cards hit their backs with West all in and at risk.
Jonathan West: A♥Q♦Q♥K♠
Norbert Szecsi: A♠Q♠9♦J♣
The full board ran out Q♣2♦4♣7♥3♣ and with top set West was again best to retain life on the bubble.
Since coming back from the break, Yuri Dzivielevski ramped up the aggression and kept adding chips. The largest pot of them all just came against Chad Eveslage when he fired three barrels.
That created a pot of more than one million to the K♠8♥2♣7♥3♠ river on which Eveslage in the big blind checked. Dzivielevski pulled the trigger and jammed, which eventually got through.
"I flopped a set," Dzivielevski said after the hand was all over with a big smile on the face.
In a battle of the blinds, Ioannis Angelou-Konstas bet the 8♦7♥5♠9♣3♦ river for 80,000. Jeffrey Davoud reluctantly called and mucked two pair (eights and fives) when Angelou-Konstas tabled the A♠J♦8♣6♦ for a nine-high straight.
One table over, Matt Glantz was all-in for 215,000 out of the small blind and Ren Lin as the initial raiser called.
Matt Glantz: A♠A♦J♥2♥
Ren Lin: K♦Q♠9♠6♣
The 8♦6♦4♥7♣3♠ board kept the aces ahead as Glantz doubled.
Norbert Szecsi then got a preflop repot through when Jonathan West raised to 80,000 preflop as the latter tank-folded the A♥K♥J♣6♣ after using two time banks.
