Niveau 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Marius Conan
Marius Conan

Marius Conan: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Mathieu Papineau: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned out {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} to end Conan's tournament in 46th place. The Frenchman was the last to receive 26,000 MAD; all others will receive 1,000 MAD more.

Caveriviere Loses the Flip

Niveau 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A short-stacked Patrick Caveriviere shoved 50,000 from early position and Jose Plaza reshoved from the small blind.

Patrick Caveriviere: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Jose Plaza: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

After bursting the bubble with ace-king against jacks, Plaza also won with jacks versus ace-king as the {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} board remained low. Caveriviere left in 47th place and received 26,000 MAD.

Other players that received the mincash were Michel [Removed:250], Pierre Zerbib, Ange Cucchi, and Cyril Gouilliou.

Kebe to the Rail

Niveau 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After Darcourt's bustout, a flurry of all-ins took place that resulted in four players hitting the rail in quick succession, each collecting a mincash of 26,000 MAD. First to go was Manuel Lopez, who got it in with {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} against the {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} of [Removed:335] and received no help.

One of the players who was off to the showers was [Removed:30], who was all in with {A-}{Q-} against the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} of Maxime Chilaud, for around 135,000 total. The board came down {4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} and Kebe whiffed, while Chilaud soared to 800,000.

At another table, Ringo Stimac shoved 65,000 from early position and a player known as 'jos' shoved for 66,000 from the small blind.

Ringo Stimac: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}
'jos': {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

No help for 'jos' on {J-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{K-Spades} and he was left with a single T-1,000 chip, which got lost shortly after as well.

Guillaume Darcourt Bubbles the 2018 WPTDeepStacks Marrakech Main Event

Niveau 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Guillaume Darcourt
Guillaume Darcourt

French pro Guillaume Darcourt will not be adding to his 1.4 million dollar in lifetime winnings in this tournament as he became the unfortunate bubble boy. With stacks already in the middle, action needed to be completed at the other tables first before the hands went to showdown.

Guillaume Darcourt: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Jose Plaza: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

Darcourt needed to hold in the classic race but failed to do so as the board came down {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. All remaining players are guaranteed at least 26,000 MAD.

Three Players Bust; Bubble Time

Niveau 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Michel Abecassis
Michel Abecassis

Three more players have busted out to bring the field on the stone cold bubble. First one to go was Kamel Amrane, who got it in with {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} on a {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} board. Aitor Tilla had him crushed with {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for trips and Amrane bowed out in 59th after the {2-Clubs} on the river.

Shortly following Amrane out the door was Gilles Abecassis. In a three-bet pot, Abecassis shoved {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} on a {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, only to be met by a snap-call from Fabio Pinho with {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Neither {Q-Diamonds} turn nor {8-Hearts} river gave Abecassis one of his five outs and he left the tournament area.

With hand-for-hand already installed two before the money, it was Pedro Filipe De Sousa Oliveira who went all in for 92,000 after a raise to 11,000 and two calls. Ramon Sol came over the top for 265,000 and all other players folded.

Ramon Sol: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and that was it for the Portuguese.

Bertrand Busts to Hsissen

Niveau 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jean-Francois Bertrand was all in for his remaining crumbs in a three-way all-in of 38,000 total. Aitor Tilla and Mehdi Hsissen were contesting a far larger side pot while Bertrand was waiting.

On an {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{10-Spades} board, Hsissen shoved all in for 106,000 and Tilla called.

Mehdi Hsissen: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Aitor Tilla: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Jean-Francois Bertrand: {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Hsissen won it all and Bertrand finished in 60th place, shy of the money.

Pecheur Collides With Attia

Niveau 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
David Pecheur
David Pecheur

Abdullatif Attia raised to 11,000, David Pecheur three-bet to 29,000 to his left and Attia called. The flop was {K-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and both players checked. On the {K-Hearts} turn, Attia checked, Pecheur bet 28,000, and Attia called.

The river was the {J-Spades} and Attia checked again. Pecheur bet 64,000 and Attia took around ten seconds before check-raising all in. It was for a total of 214,000 and a substantial part of Pecheur's remaining stack, who went deep in the tank. Attia crossed his arms and Pecheur seized him up.

"It's a pair of jacks or a bluff," he said in French, and it took him nearly three minutes before laying his hand down. Attia didn't show and collected the sizable pot.
