Around 6 a.m. this morning, Tobias Peters reigned supreme in the single-day 4,500 MAD 8-max event, worth 120,000 MAD. Despite not even getting four hours of sleep, it appears the hunger of the Dutchman hasn't been stilled yet.

With the board completed at {8-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, Aitor Tilla bet 32,000 and Peters raised to 125,000. Tilla called it off but couldn't defeat Peters' {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. The 2017 WPTDeepStacks Player of the Year collected the sizable pot to move up to a top 5 spot on the leaderboard.

Despite making quads two times today, Frederic Delval's run has come to an end in 37th place. The same goes for [Removed:520], who finished 36th. It was Tosques who did his countryman in.

[Removed:524] shoved his last 11 big blinds with {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and received a call from Francois Tosques with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. The board came {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} to give Tosques a better pair and end [Removed:524]'s attempt.

Kalidou Sow is back in familiar territory as the Frenchman scored a huge double at the expense of Maxime Chilaud. It was the classic cooler Chilaud had ran into: kings against aces.

The aces of Sow remained ahead on an {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{Q-Clubs} board and he launched himself to 850,000, while Chilaud slipped to 220,000.

Shortly before, 'arce' bowed out at another table and finished 42nd for 27,000 MAD.
