Tabacaru Folds Before the Flop

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

David Taborsky had already folded while the squeeze of Ion Tabacaru out of the blinds to 6,500 was not pulled in yet. Jan Bronkhorst, however, had reraised to 36,000 and that sent Tabacaru deep into the tank.

He inquired where his opponent was from, to which Bronkhorst replied "Holland". Tabacaru folded eventually and claimed in table chat he held pocket tens.

Three Pocket Pairs; No Seat Open

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

All the chips went in preflop with Angelo Bamberger at risk, as he was covered by Agostino Scozzari and Adem Can.

Angelo Bamberger: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Agostino Scozzari: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Adem Can: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Scozzari was left with fewer than half the starting stack.

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Uri Gilboa
Uri Gilboa

Following a raise to 1,000 and two calls, Yehuda Cohen got the last 2,900 in preflop and was called three ways. The {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop was checked to Uri Gilboa, who bet 4,000 and isolated successfully.

Yehuda Cohen: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Uri Gilboa: {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Neither the {8-Clubs} turn nor the {5-Clubs} river were of any help and Cohen headed straight to the cash game tables.

Petroni Gets a Bluff Through

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

With 23,000 in the middle on a completed board of {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades} in the last hand before the break, Giovanni Petroni checked. Yosefi Cohen bet 16,200 only for Petroni to move all-in.

Cohen shook his head and tank-folded to get shown the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} by the Italian.

Navon Doubles Through Donnini

Niveau 2 : 100/300, 300 ante
Danilo Donnini
Danilo Donnini

Afik Navon raised for Danilo Donnini to three-bet to 2,100, Navon then four-bet to 7,200 and the Italian called. On the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop, Navon's bet of 3,600 was called and he then opted to check the {4-Diamonds} turn. Donnini bet 7,800 and called a check-raise to 17,500.

Navon jammed the {2-Clubs} river and Donnini tank-called. The player from Israel celebrated as he rolled over {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the nuts while Donnini's {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} were briefly exposed. Once he saw what cards he was called by, Navon essentially mocked his opponent which Donnini didn't take lightly. After some words in Italian, he added "you won the pot so shut up."

D'Angelo No More

Niveau 2 : 100/300, 300 ante

In a previous hand, Daniele D'Angelo lost almost his entire stack as Andrea Ricci doubled. The last few chips then went in preflop with the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Manfred Hammer looked him up with the {q-Spades}{j-Spades}. The {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Clubs} board left D'Angelo drawing dead on the turn and he left the tournament area after wishing everyone good luck.
