Bienvenue à Las Vegas pour le Jour 1 de l'Event #47 $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Low Split 8-or-Better des World Series of Poker is set to begin.
Popularisée au Royaume-Uni et en Europe, cette variante communément appelée PLO Hi Lo a gagné de nombreux fans aux USA ces dernières années.
En 2011 c'est David Singontiko qui s'est imposé dans ce tournoi, remportant le bracelet doré devant 945 autres joueurs.
David "Doc" Sands et Paul Volpe y firent de boms deep runs, Martin Staszko, Kathy Liebert, Ben Yu, Erik Seidel, Mike Beasley, Antony Lellouche et Alexandre Gomes y décrochant une place payée.
Les joueurs débuteront ce Jour 1 avec 1.500 jetons et 1.500 de recave optionnelle, avec dix niveaux de jeu programmés.
