Mizrachi Stacks Another

Niveau 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Daniel Grassi raised to 190,000 from middle position and Michael Mizrachi called from the button.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Grassi checked. Mizrachi bet, Grassi check-raised all-in, and Mizrachi quickly called to put Grassi at risk.

Daniel Grassi: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{3-}{3-}
Michael Mizrachi: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Grassi had flopped a boat but Mizrachi held trips and had a fist full of overcards he could hit to take the lead. The {10-Hearts} on the turn was one of them and the {10-Diamonds} river further improved Mizrachi to tens full, so he took the pot to send Grassi to the payout desk.

Herron Flops the Nut Flush

Niveau 24 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Joon Park potted from early position and small blind Jason Mayer called for his last 120,000. Derrick Herron matched Park's bid and they battled for a side pot on the flop of {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

The action was fast as Herron checked to Park who moved all in and Herron snapped him off with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for the nut flush. Park showed {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a straight and Mayer opened {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Mizrachi Shows the Four of Diamonds

Niveau 24 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Michael Mizrachi raised to 130,000 in the cutoff and Dzmitry Urbanovich flatted on the button.

The two big stacks went to the {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop where Mizrachi continued, betting 200,000. Urbanovich called.

The {J-Clubs} landed on the turn and Mizrachi asked the dealer how much was in the pot. The answer was 750,000 and Mizrachi cut out a bet of 500,000.

Bailey Doubles, Then Busts

Niveau 24 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Action folded around to the blinds and Srinivas Balasubramanian raised from the small. Mitchell Bailey called for 125,000 from the big to put himself at risk and the two players tabled their hands.

Srinivas Balasubramanian: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Mitchell Bailey: {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Bailey had the preflop edge and only improved from there when the board ran out {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} so he took the pot with trip aces to double up. However, he was still short-stacked, and was spotted exiting the tournament area several minutes later.
