Nitsche On a Nub

Niveau 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

From the big blind, Dominik Nitsche called a raise of Adam Swan. The dealer rolled out a flop of {6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Nitsche instantly shoved all in, having Swan just covered. Swan called.

Nitsche: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Swan: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Swan had flopped two pair and Nitsche failed to catch up on the {A-Spades} turn and {J-Diamonds} river. He was left with only 55,000 and folded the next hand, leaving himself with 35,000.

Sartin Over Two Mill

Niveau 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Russell Sartin was one of the bigger stack at the start of Day 2 and he's already doubled his belongings, crossing the 2 million chip-mark.

Sartin recently added a decent chunk when he tangled with his left-hand opponent on the flop of {10-Hearts}{J-Spades}{2-Spades}. Sartin was in position, betting 200,000 to the pot and snap-calling a check-shove.

Sartin flopped the nuts with {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and his opponent tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a pair of nines and an open-ender.

The {A-Spades} turn changed nothing and the {J-Diamonds} river even improved Sartin's hand into quads.

Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Three-time Poker Players' Championship winner Michal Mizrachi came back with the chip lead and "The Grinder" keeps destroying his opposition on Day 2.

Mizrachi was just seen in a three-way all in action, facing off against Norman Albrecht and Robert Mahlmann who bod had a better starting hand.

Mizrachi: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Albrecht: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-}{4-Diamonds}
Mahlmann: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}, giving Mizrachi a straight to score a double knockout. Mizrachi is now up to 2.7 million in chips.

Benson Doubles Through Mizrachi

Niveau 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Michael Mizrachi opened to 60,000 from middle position and Gary Benson three-bet shoved from the cutoff for what looked like 245,000. Mizrachi called to put Benson at risk and the two players tabled their hands.

Michael Mizrachi: {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-}
Gary Benson: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Benson had the preflop edge with his kings and Mizrachi needed to improve to win. The board ran out {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to give both players a flush and Benson took the pot with the bigger one to double up.

Lang Finds a Double

Niveau 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Under the gun, Lee Serota limped in and another player overlimped from two seats over. Timothy Lang then potted out of the middle position, making it 165,000. Only Serota called to continue to the {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Serota checked in the dark and Lang moved all in for 185,000. Serota slid in calling chips and the cards were on their backs.

Lang: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}
Serota: {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Lang was ahead with a pair of aces but Serota had a flush draw. Lang, however, managed to dodge Serota's outs on the {J-Diamonds} turn and {8-Hearts} river, scooping the pot with aces up.

Quadruple for Reichard

Niveau 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Josh Reichard was downed to his last 35,000 when he posted his small blind. Adam Brown raised to 75,000 under the gun, earning a call from Aleksey Filatov in middle position. Reichard called off for the rest of his chips.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and Filatov fired 100,000 in position, getting rid of Brown.

"I got at least seven," Reichard said.

He needed help with {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} against {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} and while the {Q-Diamonds} turn missed his outs, the {3-Diamonds} river gave him two pair to beat Filatov's hand.

Reichard climbed to 135,000, scoring almost a quadruple but he'll have to spin further up to get in calm waters.

Jeremy Ausmus Eliminated

Niveau 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

We arrived at the table when three players turned their cards face up, including Jeremy Ausmus.

The flop read {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Ausmus was trailing with {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} against Calen McNeil's {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}. Daren Weaver was also all in for his last 10,000, holding {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

The rest of the board ran out {J-Diamonds} and {7-Hearts} and Weaver scooped the main pot with trip sevens while Weaver claimed Ausmus' remaining chips, eliminating the former November Niner.
