Rocha Gets a Double

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Catching the action on a flop of {K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} all the money got in between Alex Rocha and one other player. Rocha moved all in over for 3,650 and the other player called.

Alex Rocha: {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Rocha flopped two pair but his opponent was live still with a flush draw. The turn was the {9-Spades} though which did give the other player a few more outs but he bricked out on the {4-Clubs} river and that earned Rocha the double up.

Daniel Negreanu

Razz
Daniel Negreanu has had a quiet day, steadily accumulating chips with just three levels left. In this hand he faced a complete and a raise, and he made it three bets. The first player called, as did the second and he was all in.

Negreanu's bet on fourth street was called, and the Canadian then switched to check-calling bets on fifth and sixth street.

Player 1: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{q-}{4-}{10-}/{x-}
All-in Player: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{3-}{q-}{9-}/{x-}
Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{4-}{10-}{9-}/{x-}

Both players checked seventh street. Negreanu showed {2-}{4-}{6-} for a nine-six low, beating the first player's {6-}{6-}{7-} for a ten-seven. The all-in player was drawing live with {a-}{3-} but drew the eight to bust.

Vornicu Sends Some Away

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 0 ante

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Picking up the action on the first draw with what looks like about 2,400 in the pot. The player in the small blind takes two, while the player in the big blind takes two as well. Valentin Vornicu sweats his cards then decides to take three. Action then checked over to Vornicu who bet, and both opponents called.

On the second draw the small blind took two while the big blind took one, Vornicu took two then when action checked to him, bet again. Both players called once more.

For the final draw, both blinds took one card apiece while Vornicu stood pat. Action checked to him for a third time and he bet. This time the small blind raised and the big blind immediately folded. Vornicu rubbed his head a bit thinking about the hand but eventually called.

The small blind showed his {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Vornicu mucked.

"I was really trying to think of what you could have when I drew three sevens," the small blind said.
