Metaal continued with a bet of 700 on the flop after the player in the small blind had checked to him. Again there was a call and the turn was dealt.

Konnikova Sends One to the Rail

Maria Konnikova has just sent a player to the rail after she put him all in on the river.

The player on the button raised with Konnikova in the small blind and the player in the big blind calling. The flop fell and the button player continued for 1,800 when the action was checked to him. Only Konnikova called.

The turn was the and she once again check-called, this time for 4,650, which left the button with just one 5,000 chip behind him.

When the river came the , Konnikova put one single 5,000 chip into the middle, and the button went into the tank. It took a couple of minutes for him to act but he did make the call, and he allowed the dealer to muck his hand when Konnikova turned over for a pair of kings to win the pot.

Stausholm Stays Alive

Martin Stausholm was in the big blind with a stack worth around 10 big blinds and called a raise from the button after the player in the small blind had flatted. The blinds checked to the button raiser on the flop, and he bet 1,000. The small blind called, and Stausholm put the rest of his 3,050 chip stack into the middle.
