Parvizi Flushes Johns, 27 Remain

Niveau 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Ian Johns
Ian Johns

Seven Card Stud

Ian Johns: {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} / {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} / {X-}
Iraj Parvizi: {K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{A-Diamonds} / {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{X-} / {X-}

A very short-stacked Ian Johns was all in for just over two big bets on third and faced Iraj Parvizi. Johns was ahead with a pair of kings until sixth, but Parvizi spiked the {5-Diamonds} on seventh in order to improve to an unbeatable flush. Johns received the meaningless {Q-Clubs} for kings and queens, and he was eliminated just shy of the money bubble and moments before the end of the level.

Fuchs Scoops One; Bellande Below 100k

Niveau 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Jean-Robert Bellande: {X-}{X-} / {8-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{K-Diamonds} / {X-}
Albert Daher: {X-}{X-} / {4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs} / {X-}
Carol Fuchs: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{K-Spades}

In the last hand of the Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo, Carol Fuchs scooped a pot with aces and jacks when seventh street was checked down with Jean-Robert Bellande and Albert Daher also involved. Neither of them could beat Fuchs' aces up though and she scooped the pot with a "woo woo", Katherine Fleck was all smiles and said "make sure you put that one in."

Limit Hold'em

One hand later the game type changed to Limit Hold'em and Bellande raised first to act, Daher three-bet and Fuchs folded out of the big blind after spotting a suspicious smile on Daher's face. "You are smiling, it doesn't happen that often."

Bellande called and the flop fell {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Bellande checked, Daher bet and picked up a call. On the {6-Diamonds} turn, Bellande checked and folded to Daher's second barrel.

The shortest stack by far close to the money bubble right now is Ian Johns with just over two big bets left for the Stud games.

Ivey Chops to Double in Four-Way Pot

Niveau 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

On the four-way flop of {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, John Hennigan in the small blind and Scott Cole in the big blind checked. Aditya Prasetyo bet and Phil Ivey raised, Hennigan and Cole called and so did Prasetyo. On the {4-Diamonds} turn, Hennigan checked and Cole bet, Prasetyo raised and Ivey called all in for 19,500, prompting a tank-call from Hennigan and a quick call from Cole.

The {7-Hearts} on the river paired the board and action checked to Prasetyo, Hennigan and Cole came along.

"I have the nut flush and the nut low," Prasetyo said and tabled the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Ivey had {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a full house and Hennigan showed his {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Cole briefly flashed his cards, too, but couldn't beat the high or the low. Ivey effectively doubled thanks to the chop while Prasetyo chipped up with the nut low and side pot.

Seven Card Stud

Jean-Robert Bellande: {X-}{X-} / {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{K-Hearts} / {X-} fold
Albert Daher: {X-}{X-} / {8-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} / {X-}
Daniel Zack: {X-}{X-} / {10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Spades}{7-Clubs} / {X-}

Albert Daher completed with the eight and Daniel Zack called, Jean-Robert Bellande raised and both opponents called. Daher checked his ace on fourth and Bellande bet, picking up calls from both opponents before the same action took place on fifth. On sixth, Daher and Zack checked and Bellande bet, Daher raised and Zack called, Bellande came along.

On seventh, Daher bet and Zack called, Bellande folded. Daher rolled over {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} for just a pair of eights and Zack scooped the pot with {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for tens and sevens.
