Brunson bet with suited connectors and both of his opponents called. He paired his eight on fifth and barreled. Only Yu called this time and Yu himself caught a pair of eights on sixth. The betting round was checked and Yu fired on the river. Brunson contemplated his decision for about a minute and then tossed in calling chips only to learn that he was up against tens up.

Since the redraw for the last two tables, Ben Yu and Yaniv Birman are sitting next to each other. They are in the epicenter of the vast majority of the pots, tangling with each other. Oftentimes, they make it all the way to the river. That was the case in the following hand.
Todd Brunson completed, Yu made it two bets and Birman fired a three-bet. Only Yu called and called on all following streets. Birman turned up trip kings, biting into Yu's stack again.
