Bonomo Busts to Bowker

Niveau 11 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Justin Bonomo made it through with a below-average stack after Day 1 and was just spotted without any chips at all, having sent the remainder of it over to Kyle Bowker. The board was still showing with {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}{X-} and Bowker raked in the pot with {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, having flopped a full house and turned an even better one.

The turn was the money card for Bowker, as he explained after the hand was over, as with that third space Bonomo had improved to the ace-high flush only to find himself drawing dead. Since he only entered once so far, Bonomo may still re-enter until the start of Level 13.

Negreanu Gets a Fold from Rast

Niveau 11 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

There were about 75,000 chips already in the pot and the board read {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades} when we got to the table. Brian Rast was in the big blind and facing a decision for 40,000 from Daniel Negreanu, who was under the gun. After some consideration, Rast called.

The {9-Spades} hit the river and Rast checked. Negreanu bet what looked like 80,000, Rast folded, and Negreanu took the pot.

Stephen Chidwick sent his first bullet in the event over to Chase Steely and Keith Carter also ran out of chips very quickly. Yevgeniy Timoshenko was eliminated, and since he re-entered on Day 1, he won't have the opportunity again to jump back in.

Elsewhere James Calderaro paid off the flopped set of jacks of Xuedong Li to drop some chips, sighed and said "all good, glad I didn't pump it up preflop."

Meanwhile in a battle of the blinds, Kilian Loeffler took some chips off Omar Zazay. The latter check-called a bet of 10,000 by Loeffler on the {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{J-Clubs} turn and did so again for 26,000 on the {9-Diamonds} river. Loeffler rolled over {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} for top two pair and raked in the pot.

Yu Doubles Through Karmazinas

Niveau 11 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Ben Yu shoved from the small blind for 51,000 on a flop of {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} into an existing pot of about 55,000. Dominykas Karmazinas called from the button to put Yu at risk and the two players tabled their hands.

Ben Yu: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Dominykas Karmazinas: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-}{X-}

The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn gave Yu a commanding lead with top set and left Karmazinas in need of help on the river. The last card was the {2-Hearts}, which missed both players entirely, so Yu took the pot to double up.

Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi lost a few chips and then got his 100,000 in preflop after a raising war against table neighbor David Prociak.

Michael Mizrachi: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
David Prociak: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The board came {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Mizrachi dodged the additional flush draw to score the double.

Wang Takes From Chinni

Niveau 11 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Jesse Chinni and David Wang were heads-up with the board reading {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and 67,500 chips in the middle. Chinni checked from the big blind and Wang announced a pot-sized bet from under the gun. Chinni called after brief consideration.

The {3-Spades} fell on the river and both players checked. Chinni showed {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for aces up without revealing his other two hole cards and Wang flipped over {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to take the pot with a set of fives.
