MacIntyre Busts; Ladines Triples Up With Straight Flush

Niveau 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Joshua Ladines
Joshua Ladines

On the three-way flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} the action escalated between David Prociak, Joshua Ladines and Fraser MacIntyre. Prociak had check-raised out of the small blind before the chips of Ladines as shortest stack of the trio went in. MacIntyre jammed and Prociak called with the superior stack.

Joshua Ladines: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}
Fraser MacIntyre: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}
David Prociak: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}

MacIntyre's overpair needed to dodge a lot of outs and Ladines instantly spiked the magic {6-Spades} turn to improve to a straight flush. The very same card left MacIntyre drawing dead for the side pot, while the meaningless {2-Spades} on the river was a formality. Ladines tripled for 171,000 post flop and MacIntyre's remaining chips were sent over to Prociak.

Galfond Eliminated by Capitan

Niveau 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Phil Galfond
Phil Galfond

After a raise to 25,000 and two calls including Bogdan Capitan, Phil Galfond in the small blind raised the pot to 137,000 and that forced folds all the way to Capitan in the cutoff, who ended up as the only caller.

On the {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Galfond moved all in for his last 220,000 and Capitan snap-called.

Phil Galfond: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Bogdan Capitan: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

They only ran it once and Galfond was in need of an ace or running straight cards. The {J-Spades} turn left Galfond drawing to an ace only, while the {J-Hearts} river was not enough. Despite improving to a runner-runner full house, Galfond was eliminated and Capitan jumped above one million in chips.

The board ran out {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, giving Palarino a set of aces to eliminate Park.

Beylin Gets Value From Soverel

Niveau 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

After a raise by Konstantin Beylin and a call by Sam Soverel in the hijack, the flop came {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and both players opted to check. On the {A-Spades} turn, Beylin bet 50,000 and Soverel called. The {2-Diamonds} river completed the board and Beylin made it 80,000 to go.

Soverel was sent into the think tank and called after some consideration, Beylin showed the {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for aces and sevens to drag in the pot.

Tommy Le

Following the turn of a {K-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{A-Hearts} board with about 140,000 in the pot, Tommy Le was all in from the big blind for 115,000 and Konstantin Beylin tanked for a bit from the small blind before he called with {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for aces and sixes.

Le held a flush draw and straight draws with {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}, but found no help from the {4-Spades} river.

Mizrachi Chips Up With a Straight

Niveau 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

More than 200,000 were already in the middle with Robert Mizrachi and David Benyamine in action. Mizrachi in late position checked and Benyamine did so from the cutoff on a flop of {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

On the {J-Hearts} turn, Mizrachi checked and called a bet worth 65,000 before the {10-Clubs} on the river was checked through. Mizrachi showed {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a straight and Benyamine was left with his head shaking.

Kruk Left Short After Clash With Benyamine

Niveau 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

On the three-way turn of {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}, David Benyamine in the small blind checked and Christopher Kruk in the big blind bet 12,000, which forced out Chase Steely.

Benyamine check-raised to 57,000 to pick up a call by Kruk before leading the {A-Hearts} river for 150,000. Kruk called and was shown the {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for the nut flush, which ended up winning the pot and sending Kruk all the way back to just 10 big blinds.

Soverel Doubles; Le Chops

Niveau 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

The cards of Konstantin Beylin were already in the muck and he had to pay off the double of Sam Soverel for 201,000.

Soverel had defended his big blind and got it in after a flop of {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} with the {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pair. The {A-Hearts} turn and {9-Hearts} river kept his hand best against a pair and gutshot of Beylin and Soverel doubled.

Shortly after, Beylin raised, faced a three-bet by short stack Tommy Le and got it in. Le called it off with the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} against Beylin's {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and both chopped it up on a board of {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}.
