Lewis Gets the Best of Talbot

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

On a board reading {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, the action was on Romain Lewis who bet 3,000 from early position. Parker Talbot check-called from the big blind and the {10-Hearts} landed on the river.

Talbot checked again and Lewis put in a hefty bet of 14,000. Talbot looked a bit annoyed but wasted little time before making the call. Lewis flipped over {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a full house on the river and Talbot was surely annoyed with the result, as he flung his cards into the muck.

Lee Puts Sow Under Pressure

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Daniel Lee opened the betting to 1,000 on the cutoff and Kalidou Sow three-bet from his big blind to 3,500. Lee called and the dealer fanned a {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop.

Sow continued for 2,700 and Lee floated. The turn was a {4-Hearts} and Sow bet again, this time 7,700. Lee called once more and the river was the {10-Hearts}. There were several draws that could have completed by the river and perhaps that is what slowed Sow down, who checked. Lee then moved all-in for 20,750.

Sow went deep, deep into the tank and after several minutes, Chris Hunichen called the clock. If Sow called, he would be down to 17,500 and after the 30-second clock had lapsed, he decided the price was too high and passed, leaving Lee to collect the chips.

Jacks Can't Hold for Serda

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

There was a raise to 1,000 from under the gun and Patrick Serda three-bet to 3,200 from the cutoff. The action folded back to the initial raiser who made it 10,500. Serda instantly shoved all in and his opponent puffed out his cheeks as if he knew he made a mistake. He thought for a moment and then stuck in his remaining chips, putting himself at risk for 21,725.

Patrick Serda: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Serda was in a commanding lead heading to the flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. His opponent picked up a straight draw to go with his one overcard. "Four," Serda said, sarcastically cheering for his opponent to hit a straight.

Indeed, the {4-Hearts} landed on the turn and the {k-Clubs} completed the board. "You called for it," Serda's opponent replied as he shrugged his shoulders and handed over the chips to his opponent's made straight.

Christgen and Newey Go to Showdown

Niveau 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

There was an early position open and three flat calls, by Paul Newey and Thomas Christgen behind and from Leo Margets in the big blind.

The flop came down {2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and there were three checks to Christgen, who bet 1,700. Only Newey paid to see the turn card and it was an {a-Spades}. Both players checked and a {7-Spades} completed the river. Once again both players checked, taking them to showdown and Christgen won with the higher pair.
