Earlier this week Michael McKenna made the final table of Event #50: $1,500 Razz and is now knocking on the door of another final table in Event #60: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship.

McKenna had a roller coaster of a day before eventually bagging up the chip lead. Just before the last break of the night, McKenna took the most of a three-way pot against Abdel Hamid and Jason Berilgen.

McKenna took the majority of the big pot with two-pair and the nut low while the other players only got a small portion with the nut low. That would push McKenna to the top of the counts and while he exchanged several big pots with Jim Collopy near the end of play, he held on to finish with the chip lead, bagging up 1,048,000.

There were 125 players to start the day but by the end of the night, only 24 remained. The money bubble came and went but before that, there were several notables who busted. Some who didn't make it through to the money included Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Allen Kessler, defending champion Bryce Yockey, Robert Mizrachi, Ben Yu, Jesse Martin, Brian Rast, Scott Bohlman and Carol Fuchs.

Another player who also came up short included Rep Porter, the eventual bubble boy. Porter got it all in against Brandon Shack-Harris with a full house, but Shack-Harris had quads and would eliminate Porter, bringing the rest of the players into the money. Porter looked as if he might actually fold the top full house, but in the end, he couldn't let it go.

Some of those who made it into the money but not much further were Nick Schulman (35th for $15,000), Andrew Kelsall (34th for $15,000), Ryan Laplante (32nd for $16,494) and Ian O'Hara (29th for $16,494).

Others returning for Day 3 along with McKenna include the likes of Nathan Gamble (640,000), Jim Collopy (582,000), Cliff Josephy (480,000), Randy Ohel, (476,000), Brandon Shack-Harris (417,000), Phil Galfond (308,000) and Eli Elezra (146,000)

Three-Way All In Ends Day 2

Niveau 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Michael McKenna raised to 40,000 from the button, Cliff Josephy called from the button, David "ODB" Baker three-bet the pot to 168,000 from the big blind and both McKenna and Josephy called.

The flop came down {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Baker shoved for about 60,000, McKenna raised pot and Josephy called all in.

McKenna: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Baker: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Josephy: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}

Both McKenna and Josephy had trip deuces while Baker had the best low draw.

The {8-Spades} turn and {10-Clubs} river completed the board, giving Baker the low for the main pot and McKenna the high with deuces full of tens. In the side pot, Josephy won the low.

With that, Day 2 has come to an end with Michael McKenna leading.

Klatt Notches a Triple Up Boat Over Boat Over Boat

Niveau 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

On a board of {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Phil Galfond was the first to act in a three-way pot. Galfond put out a bet of 55,000 before Andreas Klatt moved all in for 165,000 total. Nathan Gamble was last to act and he thought for a long while before he called. Galfond thought for a bit as well, then called behind.

The river was the {Q-Spades} and Galfond and Gamble both checked. Klatt showed down his {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a full house. Galfond flashed his {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} before mucking and Gamble held {6-Hearts}{3-Spades} in his hand for a full house as well. But with no low on the board, the best full house would scoop and that meant that Klatt would earn a triple up to nearly 600,000 chips.

Cazayous Eliminated by Gamble

Niveau 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

According to Nathan Gamble he raised to 38,000 and he was raised by Thomas Cazayous to 138,000. Gamble called to see a flop.

The flop was {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} and Cazayous and Gamble got all the chips in on the flop with Cazayous committing over 300,000 total.

Thomas Cazayous : {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Nathan Gamble: {A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Gamble flopped a straight and the nut low while Cazayous had a flush draw. The board completed with the {6-Diamonds} and the {K-Clubs} and that would be it for Cazayous who couldn't catch up. Gamble scooped the whole pot and moved to right around 850,000 chips.

Martini Doubles Through Hochman

Niveau 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

All the chips were already in the middle between Corey Hochman and Julien Martini when we arrived at the table. Martini was at risk with his stack of 111,000 and Hochman had him covered.

Julien Martini: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}
Corey Hochman: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{3-Spades}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} which gave Martini the win with his two pair, jacks and twos, and allowed him to double up to 220,000.

Collopy Doubles Through McKenna Again

Niveau 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Following a flop of {K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, Jim Collopy was in the big blind and check-raised Michael McKenna, who was the hijack. The check-raise was to 216,000 and McKenna went into the tank for a bit before he repotted. Collopy called all in for 398,000 and he showed {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for top pair with a low draw. McKenna tabled {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a set of sevens.

The {J-Clubs} turn and {K-Spades} river completed the board, giving Collopy kings full of jacks to double through McKenna.
