Today, 227 players will return at 2p.m. to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino to try to build up a stack in this event.

There will only be 203 people paid, so 24 survivors from yesterday will fail to make a return on their investment. However, everyone has their sights set on first place, which will bring the title, a bracelet and $323,472 in prize money.

Finishing top of the field yesterday, was John Pannucci, who bagged a whopping 235,400 chips to finish the day. Also bagging big, were Akin Tuna (169,900), Kenny Hallaert (154,400) and Kfir Nahum (151,400) but it could all change at the top spot over the course of the day.

On the schedule for today are ten 60-minute levels, with a 15-minute break every two levels. There will also be a 60-minute dinner break after Level 6 (8:30p.m.). This event is played in Amazon Orange and Tan sections.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be here from the moment cards are in the air, until the last chip has been bagged at the end of the night.

Baumann thought it over for about 30-seconds as she looked at [Removed:270] and eventually announced call. [Removed:270] turned over {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for just queen high and Baumann showed {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} to earn the pot and the double up.

Santistevan Eliminated by Hung

Niveau 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Chen Yu Hung opened the cutoff to 2,300 and Donald Santistevan three-bet to 5,300. Hung called.

It fell {7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} on the flop and Santistevan continued for 4,300, which Hung called. The turn brought the {a-Spades} and Santistevan checked to Hung who made it 8,800 to proceed. It was all-in over the top from Santistevan and a very quick call from Hung.

Chen Yu Hung: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Donald Santistevan: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Top pair wasn't good enough at this point for Santistevan, he needed an ace, a king, or a queen to keep him in the comp. The {6-Clubs} river was a brick and Hung took the pot, whilst Santistevan headed to the door.
