Final Day of the $1,000 + 111 Little One for One Drop Starts at Noon

Erwann Pecheux

With three starting days, as well as three full days of playing in the bag, Event #68: $1,000 + 111 The Little One for One Drop No-Limit Hold'em will see a champion crowned tonight. 14 out of a bumper field of 4,732 are still left standing, each of them already $29,490 richer, and they'll return to contest for the coveted bracelet as well as the $559,332 top prize that's up for grabs.

Last year, this event was the last one on the schedule with Adrian Moreno winning his first career bracelet. The best chance to follow in his footsteps belongs to Christopher Staats, who will be entering the final day as the chipleader (6,715,000). Staats has already over $600,000 in lifetime winnings and a win here would propel him over the $1M mark as well as cement his poker legacy.

Hot on Staats' heels is Erwann Pecheux (6,495,000), an experienced grinder from France. Pecheux already has more than $1.5 million in lifetime winnings and will be one to watch as cards go back in the air at noon. Pecheux is followed by Richard Cox (5,250,000), François Tosques (4,675,000) and Sung Joo Hyun (4,400,000), while Day 3 chipleader Justin Liberto will return with 2,140,000 in his quest for a second bracelet.

Action will resume in Level 31 with blinds at 50,000-100,000 and a running ante of 10,000. There will be a 15-minute break every 2 levels and a 60-minute dinner break after six levels (≈ 6:30 p.m.). PokerNews will be on the floor from start to finish including hand-for-hand coverage at the final table, so don't miss any of the action as we crown the latest gold bracelet winner.
