2014 Main Event Champion and 888poker Ambassador Martin Jacobson has taken a seat. The Swede already has seven cashes in this year's series. Will this be his eighth?
Roman Korenev just could not win a race yesterday and still managed to grind to the very end of the day. Today has been going somewhat different, though, as he starts to build a stack after winning a few hands.
There was a short stack that moved all in for around 4,000 and Korenev made the call. The players then turned over their hands and Korenev's opponent would be at risk.

The board ran out and Korenev's king kicker took down the pot.
Day 1b of this event has proven to be very popular and we have already surpassed the total number of entrants that took part yesterday. Late registration is open until 9:15 and reentries are unlimited too, so the Pavillion room is likely to be very busy today.
Amongst the new entries is double bracelet winner Kevin MacPhee. Ranno Sootla has also registered, who finished runner-up in Event #51: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Bounty.
After a very strong start, Arkadiy Tsinis appears to have had a difficult run of late.
Most recently he lost a medium sized pot after he kicked things off with a 500 open and got two calls behind, before the small blind three-bet to 2,300. Only Tsinis called and the dealer put out on the flop. There was a 2,000 continuation and Tsinis opted to fold, leaving him with half what he started today with.
