Richard Cox opened to 235,000 from the cutoff and Mike Shin moved all in for 1,800,000 from the small blind. Cox made the call and the two turned over their hands with Shin at risk.

Richard Cox: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Mike Shin: {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The flop came down in the favor of Shin as the dealer flipped over {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}, giving Shin a pair of sevens and taking the lead. The turn was the {k-Clubs} and Cox now took a commanding lead. When the {j-Diamonds} hit the river, it was Cox with the best hand and Shin was sent to the payout desk.

On a blind versus blind situation, Aditya Sushant raised from the small blind and Josue Aguirre moved all in for a total stack of 1,365000. Sushant quickly called to create the following showdown:

Josue Aguirre: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Aditya Sushant, {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Aguirre was in bad shape for a double up, and the flop {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades} gave him some hopes, but a {q-Diamonds} and a {a-Clubs} completed the board to eliminate him from the tournament.

Reuben Hoang opened under the gun for 130,000 and Paul Byrne pushed all in from the cutoff position, putting Hoang's tournament at risk. It folded back to Hoang who thought about it for a few minutes before opting for the call.

With {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for Hoang against {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} for Byrne, it was a typical flip situation and the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts} runout gave a pair of queens to Byrne who eliminated Hoang from the tournament.
