Welcome to Day 3 of Event #7: $565 COLOSSUS No-Limit Hold'em where cards will go in the air at 2 p.m. local time.
After two long days of poker, it is Matthew Causa with the chip lead after collecting 4,410,000 chips through the first two days. Causa's current total live earnings are $16,589, and he's already guaranteed to double that wherever he finishes here as all the players still in the tournament are guaranteed at least $17,597.
Thai Ha was chip leading for most of the day on Tuesday, and he's just behind Causa currently with a stack of 4,095,000. Other notables still in the field are Timothy Miles, Day 1e chip leader Kurt Jewell, and 2010 Main Event runner-up John Racener.
Today the final 32 players will play down to a final table in the Amazon room. Play will restart in Level 29 with the blinds at 30,000/60,000, with a 10,000 ante. There will be a 15-minute break after every two levels, and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 34, the sixth level of today.
Stay tuned to PokerNews to follow all the action as we find out together who from a massive 13,070-entry field will be making this year's Colossus final table.
When the board read , Song Choe bet out 500,000. Sang Liu raised to 1,800,000 and Choe eventually called.
The river was the and after a check by Choe, Liu jammed all-in.
Choe went into the tank for about 4 minutes before Vincent Bartello called the clock on him. When the clock eventually ran out, Choe had yet to make his decision so his hand was ruled dead and the enormous pot went Liu's way.
Paawan Bansal raised to 250,000 from middle position and Michael Cohen moved all in from the button for 2,855,000. Thai Ha folded his small blind and Maurizio Fisicaro re-shoved all in from the big blind for 2,825,000. Bansal folded and the hands were shown.

The dealer spread the flop and Cohen picked up an open ended straight draw. He stood up from his chair in anticipation as the hit the turn. "Come on" Cohen said quietly to himself and the completed the board.
The table erupted as Cohen rivered his straight to eliminate Fisicaro in brutal fashion in 16th place. "I'll take it call me the king of suck outs" Cohen said to the table as he stacked his chips.
Matt Silva is the final table bubble after an unfortunate hand.
Joel Wurtzel opened with a raise to 400,000 and Matt Silva raised all in for about three million chips. Wurtzel quickly called when the action folded around to him and both players tabled their cards.

Matt Silva:
The flop gave Silva a lot of outs, and the river gave him even more chances to win the pot. The river was the ultimate brick to end the tournament for Silva, who was visibly frustrated by bubbling the official nine-handed Final Table.
The massive 13,070-strong Event #7 WSOP $565 COLOSSUS No-Limit Hold'em field has been whittled down to just nine players, all vying for the lion's share of the $6,535,000 prize pool and the gold bracelet. In addition to the most desirable jewelry in poker, the winner will also walk away with the $1,000,000 top prize.
With the elimination of Matthew Silva, who ran ace-queen into the pocket aces of Joel Wurtzel to depart in 10th place, the Final Table is now set. Leading the way is the virtually unknown Las Vegas native Sang Liu with a massive stack of 18,205,000.
Liu has just five reported live cashes on his Hendon Mob for a total of $7,399. He is now guaranteed at least $57,425 and will return tomorrow to battle it out for the $1,000,000 first prize money and the coveted WSOP bracelet.
