Sang Liu raised to 350,000 from under the gun and Thai Ha called from the big blind. They went heads up to the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and Ha moved all in for 975,000. Liu snap called turning over {8-Spades}{7-Spades} and Ha showed {j-Spades}{5-Spades}.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} taking away one of Ha's straight outs and the {k-Diamonds} completed the board. Liu's trip sevens were enough to earn him the pot and the elimination and Ha is our 14th place finisher taking home $35,087 for his efforts.

Paawan Bansal Eliminated in 13th Place ($35,087)

Paawan Bansal
Paawan Bansal

Paawan Bansal just got eliminated after he got all his chips in the middle with a combo draw.

Song Choe opened the action with a raise to 350,000 and Bansal was the only caller.

Both players checked when the {9-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop came down, only to unleash the betting on the {4-Clubs} turn.

After a check by Bansal, Choe put out a bet and Bansal pushed all-in for around 1,800,000. Choe made the call and saw he had to fade a lot of outs with his {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} against {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The {9-Hearts} river rolled off the deck and Choe's rail started cheering loudly. Bansal was sent to the cashier.

Vincent Bartello
Vincent Bartello

Vincent Bartello moved all in for his last 1,185,000 from the cutoff and Gunther Dumsky called from the small blind. Bartello turned over {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and would need to improve against the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} of Dumsky.

Dumsky paired his queen in the window on the {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop to take control of the hand. The turn brought the {4-Diamonds} and Bartello would need to pair his king on the river to stay alive.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board and Bartello was eliminated in 12th place taking home $44,743.

Michael Cohen got eliminated in a big pot against the now chip leading Sang Liu.

Cohen bet out 445,000 when the board read {7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and Liu went on to count out the bet. Then he counted his stack and he put out a bet of 1,445,000.

Cohen pushed all-in and Liu quickly called.

Michael Cohen: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Sang Liu: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}

The {10-Hearts} turn immediately left Cohen with just one out, and the {8-Hearts} crushed Cohen's dreams of becoming the 2018 Colossus champion.

Matt Silva

Matt Silva is the final table bubble after an unfortunate hand.

Joel Wurtzel opened with a raise to 400,000 and Matt Silva raised all in for about three million chips. Wurtzel quickly called when the action folded around to him and both players tabled their cards.

Joel Wurtzel: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}
Matt Silva: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The {4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop gave Silva a lot of outs, and the {Q-Diamonds} river gave him even more chances to win the pot. The {2-Hearts} river was the ultimate brick to end the tournament for Silva, who was visibly frustrated by bubbling the official nine-handed Final Table.
