Flush Over Flush Situation Favors Gonsalves

Niveau 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

[Removed:16] raised from the under the gun position to 6,000 and Markus Gonsalves called from the big blind.

The two saw the {K-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} flop appear and Gonsalves checked his option. Dickerson continued with a bet of 8,000 and Gonsalves called to see the turn.

The turn came down {Q-Clubs} and Gonsalves picked the check-calling route again. This time the bet from Dickerson was considerably bigger as he put in 28,000.

The {2-Diamonds} river completed the board and completed a diamond flush draw which turned out to be a big factor in the hand. Gonsalves checked for the third time and Dickerson put in a bet for the third time. He went for 40,000 and it looked like Gonsalves had a tough decision to make as he took his time.

Gonsalves ended up calling as he tabled {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the winning hand after seeing Dickerson open up {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Watson Eliminates Piccioli to Become Chip Leader

Niveau 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Bryan Piccioli just got eliminated by Mike Watson who earned himself the title of chip leader at this stage of the tournament.

All the chips went in preflop and Piccioli had a tough task ahead with {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} against Watson's {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

The dealer dealt a {Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{A-Clubs} board and Piccioli was eliminated from the tournament.

Another big name in the field with a big stack is player of the year contender Shaun Deeb. Deeb has a stack of well over 500,000 already and with John Hennigan eliminated from the tournament it's possible for Deeb to take over the number one spot on the leaderboard.

Reeves Wins Flip Against Jaka

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Lucas Reeves raised to 9,000 from the button and small blind Faraz Jaka three-bet to 30,000. Andrew Lichtenberger folded his big blind and the action was back on Reeves who pushed all in for 134,500. Jaka called and they went off to the races.

Faraz Jaka: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Lucas Reeves: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The dealer put down quite the favorable flop for Reeves as it fell {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Jaka already started counting out the amount he had to pay Reeves when the {7-Spades} turn came down and the {10-Clubs} river was a courtesy.

Moving to Miranda

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The players will be going on break in 20 minutes and the floor staff just announced that if the players return from break they're moving them to the Miranda room. The tournament is right now located right next to the ESPN stage in the middle of the Amazon room and a lot of players complained to the floor staff that the noise is too loud from the crowds over there.

Jason Koon
Jason Koon

Jason Koon three-bet preflop and picked up two callers. On the {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, Nadar Kakhmazov check-shoved for 200,000 into a bet of 25,000 by Koon and the latter called.

Nadar: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}
Jason Koon: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The {8-Clubs} turn and {J-Clubs} river completed a back door flush for Koon, and he sent Kakhmazov to the rail.
