Deeb Keeps Raking Them in

Niveau 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

On the first draw, Shaun Deeb and Scott Seiver both drew one. Deeb bet, Seiver raised and Deeb called.

Everything was repeated on the second draw as both players took one apiece and Deeb bet-called again.

He stood pat on the last draw while Seiver still wanted to change one. They checked and Deeb announced a six, showing {6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Seiver mucked in defeat.

Negreanu Extracts Value

Niveau 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

With the action caught after the second draw, Daniel Negreanu was betting. His opponent contemplated and called.

Negreanu changed one while his opponent stood pat.

However, it was Negreanu who was pulling the strings. He bet again and his opponent talked himself into calling.

"Eight-five," Negreanu announced, turning up {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

"Good bet," was the reply from Negreanu's competitor who sent his cards to the muck.

Extra Bets for Wong

Niveau 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Jerry Wong bet from under the gun and got called in two spots after the first pull. The player in the big blind drew three, Wong took one, and a third player took two. Wong bet again and the player in the cutoff accidentally put in a half raise. It was ruled to be a full bet and Wong made it three bets after the big blind folded. The cutoff called and both players patted.

Wong's final bet was called and he won with {6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}{a-}.

At the same table, Nikolai Yakovenko has amassed a big stack of about 60,000.

Badugi

Nick Pupillo was patting all the way in a heads-up three-bet pot, battling against an opponent who was drawing one. Pupillo got two more bets from after first and second draws before checking the last draw. His rival knuckled back and Pupillo revealed his {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} to scoop another pot. He's now guarding what looks like about a 50,000-chip stack.

Ohel Saves Crumbs but Busts

Niveau 7 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Randy Ohel was in a battle of blinds that saw four bets go in before the first draw. The small blind took one and Ohel two, and it went bet-call. Each player drew a card and the small blind bet. Ohel raised and his opponent reraised. Ohel thought long and hard and decided to muck, saving his last 2,100.

Moments later, however, he busted out.
