2018 World Series of Poker
A-5 Triple Draw
Mike Noori opened in the cutoff and faced a three-bet from Steve Sung, putting in a call. Noori took two and Sung one. Noori check-raised on the next round and Sung called. Noori patted and bet twice while Sung drew one and then folded on the end.
Noori has amassed one of the biggest stacks in the room and is nearing 250,000.

Jameson Painter was down to his last 7,000 and he put them into the middle in a hand against Yuebin Guo.
Painter drew one on each draw while Guo took two on the first two occasions before changing one on the last draw.

Painter peeled a club but, unfortunately for him, it was a nine so he knew that Guo's final card didn't matter. It was the
to make things official and Guo scooped the pot with a five-high three-card badugi.

Nicholas Julia opened cutoff — effectively button since that seat was dead — and Jason Riesenberg three-bet in the small blind. Julia called but was behind in the draw, two against one. Riesenberg kept the lead and patted the next two rounds, with Julia drawing one.
They both checked the end and Riesenberg showed ![]()

to win.
"I thought about breaking and getting full value from my three-card," he said.
"I had a better three-card," Julia said.
"Well, then I'm glad I didn't break," Riesenberg said with a laugh.
Ten poker players returned to Day 3 of the $100K buy-in World Series of Poker tournament, but only six will return to the final table on Day 4. The 10 players to start Day 3 were Jason Koon, Elio Fox, Nick Petrangelo, Chris Moore, Fedor Holz, Adrian Mateos, Stephen Chidwick, Aymon Hata, Brynn Kenney, and Andreas Eiler. Who got seventh to tenth place? Who lost king-king to 3-3 all in preflop? Who is now guaranteed a cash that puts him at $7 million in earnings in three weeks? Watch to find out!
A-5 Triple Draw
Billy Baxter raised on the button and Mike Leah called in the small blind. Leah took two, Baxter one and Leah check-called.
Leah check-called again after the second draw where they both drew one.
Leah patted and Baxter took well over a minute before making his turn. He eventually stood pat as well.
The last round was checked and Baxter said: "It's really close, I got a nine." But that was no good as Leah rolled over an eight-perfect.
In the meantime, Shaun Deeb came over from the next table. He is playing the $365 online bracelet event and so is Leah who has a laptop sitting on the empty chair to his left.
"Are you this, Mike? I've got a player called 'Baxter' on my table." But Leah's answer was negative.
"I thought it was you, trolling Billy that he's next to you."
No trolling over here and the play carries on.

After the second draw, both Chris Ferguson and Mikhail Semin needed a final card in a battle of the blinds. Ferguson was already all in so they turned their cards over.

The smallest stacks in the room are Ismael Bojang and Chris Ferguson who both have just one big bet. However, they're now guaranteed a $3,721 payday so it's time for them to try to spin their micro stacks up.
A-5 Triple Draw
On the final hand of the level, Luis Velador raised and Jaswinder Lally put all his chips in from the big blind. Both drew two but Velador must have drawn far better as he patted the second draw after Lally took two again. Lally needed a final card and Velador opened ![]()

At the next table, defending champ Jesse Martin apparently busted out as well, meaning he and Lally will chop the last min-cash.
With that, hand-for-hand is over and players are on break.
