With a lot of cameras around the table, Phil Ivey has taken his seat in the Main Event. Ivey is seated with former Main Event champion, Jonathan Duhamel.
Phil Ivey seems to get a lot of respect from the other players already as he raised to 1,000 and everybody folded.
Jonathan Duhamel has been below the starting stack for quite a long time already. He still is, but he's a lot closer to the 50,000 he started with than a couple of minutes ago.
The flop was 
and Duhamel's chips were in the middle. His left-hand neighbor also pushed all-in and there was a third player in the pot with already 3,000 invested on the flop. They decided to fold and Duhamel opened up and he needed to hit.

. which didn't change anything about his situation. But as if Barry Greenstein was looking over Duhamel there was an 
on the river. Duhamel managed to hit his straight and double up to 30,000.
On a flop of 
, a player in middle position checked and Marcel Luske shoved all in for about 20,000 into a pot of around 15,000. He was met with a snap-call and the 
he turned over was in awful shape against 
. The turn brought some chop outs but the river was a 
and Luske took his leave in the early stages of Day 1c.
A player in late position raised to 850 and the player in the cutoff called. Jack Duong called from the button and Jeffrey Wan re-raised to 4,300 from the small blind. The player in the cutoff called and Duong called behind.
They went three handed to the 
flop and Wan continued with a bet of 6,150. Duong called and they went heads-up to the 
turn. Wan moved all in for 12,500 and Duong snap called turning over his 
for a flopped set.
Wan was drawing dead holding 
and the meaningless completed the board to earn Duong the pot and the elimination.
Chris Moneymaker's seat has been filled by another player. When we asked the players at the table what happened, they filled us in.
Apparently, Moneymaker — who found himself short-stacked under 15,000 recently — flopped a set of fives and was up against pocket tens. They got the money in on the flop and the 2003 Main Event champ was unfortunate enough to get hit with a 
on the river to send him to the rail.
Tobias Peters raised to 700 from middle position and the small blind called. Spencer Champlin re-raised to 3,000 from the big blind and Peters called.
They went heads-up to the 
flop and both players checked. The turn was the 
and Champlin led out with a bet of 4,500. Peters called and both players checked when the 
hit the river.
Champlin turned over his and Peters doubled checked his hole cards one last time before firing them face down into the muck.
The players have returned from the break and Daniel Negreanu and Davidi Kitai have wasted no time in getting involved in the action on the ESPN Feature Table.
Negreanu raised to 800 from middle position and Kitai three-bet to 2,700 from the small blind. Negreanu made the call, and they went heads-up to the 
flop. Kitai continued for 2,200 and Negreanu called.
The turn brought the 
, and Negreanu called a 4,800 bet from Kitai.
Both players decided to check to a showdown on the 
river, and Negreanu took the pot after he tabled for two pair queen-kicker.

Alessio Isaia opened the action with a raise and Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 3,000 on the button. Isaia made the call, and the flop came down . Negreanu bet 1,600 after he was checked to and Isaia called.
Both players checked on the 
turn, and when the river came the , Isaia check-folded to a 4,000 bet from Negreanu.
With 1,250 chips in the pot and the board reading , Joe Cada checked from the big blind and his lone opponent checked behind from the hijack.
The hit the turn and Cada bet 1,000. His opponent called.
The 
fell on the river and both players checked. Cada tabled 
and his hand was good enough to win the pot.
