Maor Doesn't Give Up

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

In a multi-way pot caught on the {K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}, Yuanning Wu fired just over 3,000, earning just one caller, the under-the-gun player to his right, Daniel Maor.

The river came {10-Clubs} and Maor let Wu fire 11,200. Then he tossed in calling chips and Wu rolled over {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Maor showed {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and took down the pot.

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

Amal Bounahra had {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} face up in front of her on {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Spades} when we got to her table. She was in the big blind and at risk for 13,600 against Bart Hanson, who had {9-}{9-} in early position. The {j-Spades} and {k-Hearts} turn and river left Bounahra's aces best and she scored a double.

Tocci Makes Schulman Fold

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

Nick Schulman opened the action with a raise from under the gun and Timothy Jurkiewicz, in the small blind, and Michael Tocci, in the big blind, both called. Both the blinds checked to Schulman on the {2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, and he continued for 2,700. Jurkiewicz folded, and Tocci called.

Tocci checked on the {7-Hearts} turn, and Schulman bet again, this time for 5,000. Tocci didn't take much time in making his next move and raised to 15,500. Schulman gave himself a minute to think but ultimately let his hand go.

Hall Finds a Call

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 100 ante
Cate Hall
Cate Hall

Cate Hall opened with a raise to 1,600 from early position and action folded around to the cutoff where Michael Verhaaf called. Everyone else folded so the two headed to a flop.

The flop was {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {9-Spades} on the turn. There, Hall led out for 3,500 and Verhaaf called.

On the {7-Hearts} river, Hall slowed down and checked. Verhaaf put out a bet of 11,100 which represented a big portion of Halls remaining stack. She thought about it for a bit over a minute then eventually she decided to call. Verhaaf showed down his {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for a busted straight draw and Hall made the correct call holding her {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a pair of sevens. She collected the pot and moved over 40,000 chips.

Chow and Tran Play a 15-minute Hand

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

According to the table, the action folded around to Michael Chow who raised it up from the cutoff. Hung Tran was in the big blind and tossed in a three-bet. Chow made a four-bet and Tran countered with another small five-bet. Chow wanted to have the last say and six-bet shoved all in on just the third hand at the table.

Tran was in the tank now and he counted out his chips, visibly showing that he had Chow covered by around 25,000 chips or so. At this point, the table was already restless as they were already ten minutes deep into the hand. Tran stood up from his chair and continued to think some more.

The rest of the table also stood up from their chairs as they discussed what the possible hands could be and what the correct play was. After another few minutes, the clock was finally called and Tran was given 30 seconds to act on his hand. The clock ran out and Tran's hand was declared dead, sending an excruciating pot to Chow in the early going.

Andrews Takes Two

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

Thi Nguyen was involved in a three-bet pot and had to fold on the river against a third barrel to drop some chips.

The same table also features a short-stacked Cherish Andrews, who won two small pots in quick succession. Both times, Andrews had raised to 1,200. In the first hand she picked up one caller and took it down on a flop of {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}. In the second hand, Andre Krieger and Nguyen called and checked to Andrews on the {K-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Andrews bet 2,000 and that won the pot right there.

A few tables over, Keith Block, who had more than half of his stack early on, raised to 1,600 on the button. The small blind called and Fahredin Mustafov three-bet to 7,600 in the big blind. Block moved all in, the small blind and Mustafov folded instantly.

Garcia Forces Out Keener

Niveau 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

With about 15,000 in the middle and the {6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} on the table, Justin Keener fired 7,500 out of position. Cord Garcia was on the button and he slid forward a pile of orange chips to cover Keener's stack which was 35,800 total.

Keener eventually folded and Garcia offered him to peel one of his cards if he'd let Garcia do the same. Garcia turned up the {7-Hearts} of Keener and Keener opened Garcia's {K-Spades} in return.
