Rheem Folds Full House on the River

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The action folded to Chino Rheem in the small blind, and he completed. The big blind checked, and then both players checked the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop.

The turn landed the {10-Spades}, and Rheem bet out 50,000 and his opponent called as the {10-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Rheem bet 200,000, and his opponent pushed out a min-raise to 400,000.

Rheem went into the tank and eventually had the clock called on him before he folded what he said was a {10-}.

The big blind tabled his {J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, and Rheem congratulated himself while dropping to just under 2.3 million.

Harvell Climbing Back Up

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

There was 400,000 already in the pot in what Justin Harvell later described as a three-bet pot on the turn with the board showing {8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Mark Zullo was in the small blind and he checked to Harvell who checked behind.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and both players checked a second time and Zullo showed down his {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for two pair. Harvell had the best of it though, holding {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and that would earn him the pot pushing him back over one million chips.

Josephy Takes Another One

Cliff Josephy
Cliff Josephy

We caught up to the three handed action on the river on the {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} board. Ivan Luca led out with a bet of 128,000 into a main pot of close to 300,000. Cliff Josephy called and Daniel Alaei called behind.

Luca instantly threw his hand face down into the muck and Josephy turned over {k-Hearts}{8-Spades} for kings and eights. Alaei double checked his hole cards one last time before he mucked and Josephy took the pot.

Gross Ousts Another

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

A player in the cutoff was all in for about 200,000 and at risk when we got to Alexander Gross' table, with Gross having called with {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}. The cutoff had {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a slight edge but that evaporated on the {3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. The {2-Clubs} turn gave the at-risk player a gutter but the {9-Spades} didn't do it.

Odonnell Takes a Big One and Shows Quads

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Picking up the action with a huge pot already in the middle of the table nearing one million chips, Shaun Odonnell was facing off against one other player who was in the small blind. The board showed {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and the player who was first to act put out a bet of what looked like 345,000.

Odonnell dropped into the tank and thought for a bit, then asked to see the other players stack before moving all in with more chips. The other player promptly folded his hand.

"I mean I have quads and the guy is betting into me," Odonnel said after the hand showing his {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. He scooped the massive pot and moved over 2.5 million chips.

More Piles for Altman

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Brian Altman looked to have put in a wager of 305,000 on a {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board from the hijack, only to have his opponent in the cutoff make it 805,000. Altman shoved all in for 1.8 million or so more and the player in the hijack picked up his cards, drew them to his body to give them a last look and then dumped them with a shake of the head.

Green Picks off Haro's Bluff

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Brian Green
Brian Green

Three players were in the hand when the dealer spread the flop of {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The action checked to Alexander Haro on the button who bet 75,000. The small blind called and Brian Green called from the big blind.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and all three players checked quickly. The river brought the {4-Hearts} and both of the blinds checked again. Haro took a shot at the pot with a bet of 150,000 and the small blind laid his hand down. Green, however, quickly called and Haro acknowledged a good call. Green tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and raked in the pot.
